I just descovered this thread and its amazing thanks to all for great pictures! I have a question was there an editorial from this Vogue?
I coudnt find it anywhere so i was wondering if it was just a shoot for the cover or was there a whole editorial!

So my subscription for Vogue ended in July, and because this past year has been nothing but boring issues (to me at least) I decided not to renew it, and instead just purchase their March and September issues on the newsstand. It's like some kind of sick joke that Vogue decides to feature Linda on the cover and inside, plus an editorial with Christy now that I no longer subscribe!!! I guess I'll be buying this issue on the stands haha

There is an entire editorial with this shoot and its AMAZING. I will see if I can find the pictures for you. Its got to be one of my favorite edits ever.

My favorite Linda US Vogue cover is her 01, its so beautiful and she looks regal and serene. I also love all of her Italian Vogue covers, she just astounds in them. They're all so different but no matter what she's powerful, stunning and enigmatic.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we see more supermodel beauty (and of course more Linda) in the crucial September Vogue.

Angelina, I also agree with you. I'm not always fond of Linda's outfits, but now I think she's so stylish! I would even give her a mother to be fashion award. In this occasions, most of the time celebrities chose tight dresses... I really don't like the way it puts forward their pregrancy. Linda went a completely different direction with lose or "Empire" style dresses. IMHO, it's so chic, it celebrates her feminine curves with a great lightness and as you said puts the stress on the bust. I also liked the blue-green dress she was wearing in a cab, that was also posted here.

I agree Linda on Vogue is always a great idea! We need supermodels back todays models and so called supermodels are so boring,there is no x-factor,charisma great characters everything is so clean,nice and pretty!!
I mean where are the Lindas,Naomis,Christys,Cindys,Nadias of this generation?
I would kill to see them all together again on the cover of Vogue!

Steven Meisel is trully amazing and this editorial shows beautifully in what kind of society women are forced to live today!
A society in wich you will alowe to get cut,sucked,pulled and tucked just to keep your youth or appear a little bit younger! Its really sad and Meisel catches it beautifully.I love him and i wish he did more work for Us Vogue but i guess he is too radical for clean Mrs Wintour!
I agree with you on Lindas 01 cover its a great one and spread inside is great too! I also think her italian covers are amazing and one of the best ever!

First of all thanx for all these wonderful pictures I'd die to see my favoritas together again;-))) hah...Linda, Christy, Helena, Nadja, Naomi, Amber, Shalom, Yasmeen, Cindy, Elle etc...

As regards Mr. Meisel, he works forItalian Vogue...it you log on the web-site of Vogue Italia you can find some pictorials but truly to say they are bit depressive but still quite interesting...oh! by the way the last cover is just Great;-)
