L'Occitane

Last time i was at my local L'Occitane-counter i got a sample of the Almond Apple Toning Cider, and i LOVE it. It actually left my skin feel moisturised, and that's strange 'cuz my skin is really dry. I'm definitely buying the full-size one, including the cleanser.

And have someone tried the Almond Apple Sweet Peel?

I really like the Summer Protection Hair Gel Mask & Conditioner, but i think its a limited edition so i don´t know if you can still get it. I also like the Citrus Verbena Daily Use Shampoo and the conditioner. :)

so damn pissed that their Honey & Lemon perfume is no more

First went my favourite Gentle Honey Water and then the Honey & Lemon perfume..GRRRR

Why do they keep doing that?!!!!!!

what about their hair care products, any recommendations?
Repairing shampooing conditioner and Repairing mask are my fav for over a year now! My hair is so soft and silky after using this two products-highly recommended!:flower:

Isa, are you talking about this, this & this one?

They say it's for dry & coloured hair, but my hair is neither coloured nor dry...I actually have oily roots.

^^You're right. :D Hm, I can't say my hair is dry either (but I do have highlights), but these products certainly don't make my hair greasy or something like that. They're really light I'd say, nothing heavy and imho that woulnd't be enought for someone who has really dry hair.

would you reccomend 'Immortelle Brightening UV Shield SPF40'? can i use foundation over it? can i use it in the eye area?
thank you :)

Has anyone smelled the new rose-scented products? Are they granny-ish or more youthful?

I instantly fell in love with Jasmine & Bergamot Eau de Toilette, from De Grasse Fragrance Collection. Vanille & Narcisse is also really really nice, but to me it seems more of an autumn scent, than summer .

Thanks for giving this thread a bump, Miwi! I've never really been into L'Occitane fragrances, but the description sounds lovely. ;) The products I swear by is their almond shower oil and hand creams, usually the limited edition ones. I still own Rose & Violet from Delice des Fleurs collection, gosh I wish they could still have this scent in their range...

^:flower:
Almond shower gel is the best oil based shower product ever and it's a wonderful treat especially during the winter season (it really helped me with winter drynes). Not to mention the smell, heaven in a bottle!

I love L'Occitane fragrances - Cherry Blossom, Citrus Verbena, Rose 4 Reines, Neroli just to name a few. I think they make very nice, pleasent and natural scents, but they don't have much longevity (because most of them are EDT). I don't mind, I just throw it in my bag. :shifty:

I couldn't resisit not buying this gorgeous, perfect smelling, refreshing body lotion. Words can't describe how amazing this is, especially in combination with Verbena shower gel. Though I've already used something similar, it was called the body sorbet.

Mint Verbena Ice Body Gel - summer perfection in a bottle.

L'Occitane certainly has the most divine body products and it's definitely a brand I associate with luxury.

i'm kinda disappointed they don't produce the rice range though, i used to use the face wash and moisturizer. i tried to use the immortelle now but not working it for me, the smell is pretty strong, now i'm using SKII for my face care
but i'm loving and still using the l'occitane for my body care. i'm especially in love with the almond body scrub, it works great and smells wonderful, and it's actually safe to use everyday
for lotion now i'm trying the almond milk concentrate but i can't really see the benefit, i'm gonna try the almond shaping delight or almond beautiful shape later after i finish this pack

^^ Almond Shower Scrub and Shea Butter Foot Cream will be my next purchases!

I'm a big fan of L'Occitane and all of their products but I was slightly disappointed in Shea Butter Foot Cream. It smells amazing, it soaks in nicely but that's about it. It's not nearly nourishing enough and I don't even have extremely dry skin.

I'm almost finished with my Shea Butter and Honey Body Foaming Gel and I'll probably get the Bonne Mère Gentle Honey Body Wash next. I think it's gentle enough to be also used as face cleanser.

Ohhh, I can't wait for this year's Christmas collection - Fleur d'Or & Acacia and Cèdre & Oranger! :woot:

I decided to stop by after work and pick up the Bonne Mère Gentle Honey Body Wash but unfortunately I didn't get it. They don't know when it will be back in stock either. But I had a chance to smell and try the Fleur d’Or & Acacia EDT and my oh my it smells oh-so-good!  I will be purchasing it as soon as I can get my hands on it. I also added Ambre & Santal EDT on the list. We use Amber Home Perfume and I've always wanted a perfume like this and this one smells exactly the same! Shea Butter Hand Cream is also one of my staples to fight dry hands during winter.

Looks like Santa will be shopping in L'Occitane this year! :woot:

I was thinking of buying the Bonne Mère body wash because of the packaging! Right now I'm using Miss Dior body wash (omg this stuff is awesome!!!). However Bonne Mère will be probably one of my future purchases, the packaging is so adorable! I'm such a sucker for pretty packaging <3
I only wonder if it moisturizes well enough so there will be no need to use a body balm after it (as I don't have to with my current body wash). Lazy gal I am... :innocent:
I'm kinda disappointed by their Christmas collection though... I don't like the scent of orange. Their previous editions were rather based on flowers and I always purchased the hand creams because the smell was divine. But I'm going to take a walk to their store, and smell the current edition myself.

I can be seduced by pretty packaging as well (I also fall for anything that comes with a pump or a dropper ). I'm often tempted to buy something just because I like the packaging and L'Occitane packaging is always so beautiful.

I might repurchase the Shea Butter and Honey Body Foaming Gel because it's a limited edition  and I love everything about this gel. The smell is so lovely and comforting. It's interesting how much I loved the Cherry Blossom range years ago but now I think I outgrew this scent. It just doesn't suit my personality anymore.

Anyway, I ended up getting the the Mom & Baby Cleansing Gel with shea butter which I'll be mostly using on my face (I like to use facial cleansing gel after removing my make-up) and this one is really gentle and without SLS as the second ingredient even though it's still lightly foaming.
