I was accepted in Foundation in Art and Design, and I'll be going in to the fashion design specialization branch. I was wondering if anyone who goes to school there would be willing to give me a tour of the school, because I missed the open days and UAL won't give me a tour. I'll be in London March 21-24.

yes, in fact the davies street building (bond street) is getting torn down in the next couple of weeks and it'll become a railway station
speaking to my course director they said there's NO PLANS to change things up in sheperds bush to adapt to the arrival of 500+ more students
No need to worry about the move from Davies st - it was out of LCFs hands as its transport for london forcing them to move out because of the new crossrail tube.
Most fashion courses wont be affected, the BA's are still at Shepards bush and curtain road. The MA fashion is still on John Princes street. I think overspill is at a new site near Holborn if I remember correctly.
Every body commutes - its to be expected. Its apart of city life. . .

Maths numeracy test
Hi, I am an international student, and just got an email that I am going to get an email with a math test in two weeks. (I've applied for BA fashion management).
Since I have never had a maths test in English before (and that maths isn't my strongest side) I am nervous.
Has anybody had this test before, know how its like or have any examples or advice?? I highly appreciate it!

the commuting bit isn't what bothers me since i don't even have to change lines, just sit on the tube for 35min. what bothers me is how unexpected the move happened (my teacher said they always knew it would happen but didn't know when) and how i'm half way through my course studying with no structure whatsoever. and if they do have plans to change it it'll be over a year from now, after i've graduated. so basically we're the guinea pigs for the move and if it doesn't work, only the younger people will get to see any changes

Still have no idea where my short course is on....
well...i guess it's always gonna be like that aint it. im sure the older alumnis were guinea pigs for whatever changes that were made during their time that now benefitted us.
davies street is serious getting knocked down in a few weeks? for real? damn...i thought it was a tactic from my course director to have us get our work back. i will miss that site.

KatherineUsher im sure if u asked the staff there, they could appoint someone there to show u around
they told me that they only show people around during the open days and there are not any more for me to go to.

they asked me what art classes I had taken?
How many pieces I had in my portfolio?
And just confirmed what I had put on my application.
This was also just my pre-interview to make sure I was fit candidate for the portfolio review
