Oh I don't know! But it's definitely not the most common thing for a primetime show to run a 1st season episode in the middle of 2nd season, don't you think (They would at least rerun a S2 episode )?

Dharma Caduceus Logo

In "Maternity Leave" we see a new Dharma facility - apparently some kind of medical facility with a Dharma logo containing a Caduceus.



Oceanic Airlines Mobile Connects Dharma/Others to Oceanic Flight 815

This is one of the really big nuggets of information revealed in "Maternity Leave". In the room prepared for Aaron inside the medical facility, there is a mobile containing Oceanic Airlines planes. This is pretty good evidence to suggest that Dharma or the Others (or both) have some connection with Oceanic Flight 815. The mobile and crib are similar, though not the same, as the crib and Oceanic mobile Claire saw in a dream BEFORE she was taken by Ethan, seen here. Also, the song that the mobile plays is "Catch a Falling Star (and put it in your pocket)". This is the same song that Claire asks the couple wanting to adopt Aaron about in Season 1.

It has been a long time coming, we finally meet Danielle's daughter, Alex, in "Maternity Leave".


The Vaccine that Desmond Used

It appears the vaccine Ethan gives Claire in "Maternity Leave" is the same stuff Desmond injected himself with in "Man of Science, Man of Faith". The numbers appears on both, although the packaging is slightly different.


Mr. Friendly - master of diguise

In the medical facility in "Maternity Leave", Ethan talks to a clean shaven man who reprimands him and mentions a superior figure. This man is none other than Mr. Friendly (aka Zeke, Bluebeard, etc.). It turns out the tattered clothes, beard, knit hat, and grime are all part of an ingenious disguise!

Me too! I him, I began to watch the show only because of him but now I'm addicted! I really want to see the 2nd season ASAP, can't wait to see what happens!

^ My guess is that since there were two, each one represented one of the men he killed, and he kept the beardy bits until he was able to "make amends" by apologizing.

Ahhhh LOST. One of the only tv shows I actually watch

Last Thursday I saw 'Abandoned' - the ep where the second main person is killed off. Thanks to the wonders of the internet I had already seen that clip, so I wasn't shocked...

Good episode, but I can't wait for Rose & Bernard to be reunited!

btw, I think Eko's beard thing represented the men he killed too. Well, not exactly the men he killed, but that he had sins to confess.. (and the sin was killing those men).
