I think the writers just write a BUNCH of random stuff so that they always have a billion storylines to work ith from week to week.

I think walt and michael will come back into the story, but there's things on the ISLAND that matter first!
And I am so glad that this past episode was as good as it was..i'm absolutely 100% re-hooked

I wouldn't mind having Michael back but I wouldn't be too excited about Walt since they'd probably have to use another actor to play him (which I would not like). The show's still technically in real time and I think it's only been about 4 months or something? They crashed on September 22, 2004, and as of Wednesday's episode it is only December 10 2004. (Thanks to www.lostpedia.com hehehe!) Walt is only 10, but from the first episode we saw him to the episode where Walt and Michael were sent away, it was already obvious that Walt the actor had aged significantly. This would pose problems if they decided to bring Walt back, as he'd look 3 years older.

And in regards to who the Others want, if they wanted people who weren't troubled or angry they definitely would NOT have taken Jack. He's one of the most troubled characters of them all! (Ex. his wife leaving him, his father dying, struggling to accept his establishment as leader among the Losties, the Kate/Sawyer triangle).

You have to realize that virtually every character has had a dark and sad past. That's what all the flashbacks are for!

Anyway, I'm excited for next week. We finally learn how Locke became a paraplegic! (this was in the episode preview for next week)

I betcha if they brought back the same actor who played Walt they would come up with some strange storyline to where some place on the island ages you or something. I do however think that Walts "power of will" was an interesting one. I'd like to see that explored a bit more.

Also, the others seem to want people who are "good" in heart. Not neccessarily people who are happy/content with life, or people who haven't done any wrong...they just want people who aren't "bad" (criminals, murderers, con men (wait aren't they all the same) etc) but they want people who are "good" (doctors, children, babies).

Sawyer is a conman and therefore unwanted. Sayid used to torture people and therefore unwanted. Kate is a criminal so she wan't wanted either. I honestly don't remember if Jack was on the list or not... its getting so damn complicated.

finally got to watch the episode today and it was great! the electronic barrier was scary! that thing must be pricey. i liked claire's flashback. and i already knew that... jack's dad was also claire's. i guessed it when ana lucia worked for him. and the ending with jack! that was hilarious and oh so interesting!

Everybody should check these out. This guy has major talent. Both were done really well but I think I like John Locke the best.

good episode tonight. liked how we found out what jack was doing with the others. ok rest is in white... i cant believe what happened to Locke. I mean his dad pushed him out a window, and he survived a fall from 8 stories! man!
the whole submarine thing was weird. i wonder what deal they had with jack. i mean to let him take the submarine when they know they would never get it back.
the best twist was when locke's father was tied up in that room. wonder what is going to happen to him?
for next weeks episode i think its going to be the new girl that dies. the one that has the hots for rodrigo santoro's character. dont know why i think that, just a wild guess

The thing about Locke calling his dad 'dad' was like because if my dad pushed me out of a building and confined me to a wheelchair, i certainly wouldnt call him dad.
