I totally missed last night's recap of the show, so I'm surely going to be confused out of my mind.

I saw the finale last night on TV before I went to bed. But I remember that last time I got very scared and was up all night thinking about John and his creepy eyes, so I decided to past.

I really liked the season premiere!!! white writing ... the oceanic 6!!!!! thats crazy that only 6 made it back to the real world, but i guess there are more survivors. i cant wait for next week

I know!! I wonder who the other three are...and could one of them be the person whose viewing Jack attended in last season's finale? Hurley's future is so sad. I imagine something bad must have happened to him in the time from this episode's island story and his return to civilization that caused him to start seeing things. And oh my god, Jacob scared the crap out of me! Did Hurley see him?! And I thought Jacob didn't like light, yet there was a lantern or something on the table next to him...

(White writing!) I think other than Jack, Kate, and Hurley, Claire & Aaron should be included in the Six because of Desmond's vision (Charlie dies but Claire & Aaron get rescued). I also think it's likely that more than six get off the island, because the "Others" weren't part of Oceanic 815! Namely Juliet, Rosseau, Alex, and Ben. Or maybe I'm just in denial and want more than 6 people off!

And about Jacob, when Hurley looked inside, that was definitely Christian Shepard (Jack's dad) in Jacob's chair! Well at least I'm pretty sure that looked like him. Creepy... even more to think about now, with that recent mobisode too. I might watch it again- I think the rerun is on now- only if I can stand the commercials. It seemed tooo short, and there was pratically no trailer for the next episode.

^I definitely think > Sawyer is one of the 6. In fact, in last season's finale when Kate said "I have to go. He's going to be wondering where I am," I think she was talking about Sawyer.

Quite a good way to start off the season: I was surprised they used Hurley as the first personal account of the season. But I LOVE how Hurley and Jack mention, "The island wants us to come back!" It's .

white writing ... jacob scared me too!!! i didnt really get to see his face but that would be interesting if it was a character we already know. and jacob isnt afraid of light, hes does like technology. Locke had to put away his flashlight and use a lantern instead

Very very interesting episode last night...
I thought it was interesting how it focused on Hurley of all people. Usually season openers tend to be Jack-centric so this was a bit of a shock to me. Though I suppose it makes sense if they are going to flesh out Libby's story and finally resolve those things set up in Season 2. The Ana Lucia mention also seems to hint towards the resolution of the Season two plot holes.

Ben was so great last night. He's such a good villain - even when he's getting beaten up and pushed around he's still so eerily calm.

The Kate/Jack/Sawyer tension was high last night - not quite sure how much of that I want to see, sometimes it grates. I'm looking forward to this season on the whole though - I really hope Jin & Sun make it off the island, perhaps moreso than some of the other characters.
