NOOOOOO!!!! i was just starting to like her!!!! btw- i heard that ana lucia may not have killed her. the shot that we heard supposedly sounded like a shotgun and ana lucia was holding a pistol. also i know what walt was saying. he was saying " the others are close" backwards. but he was probably talking about sawyer,michael and all of them... i hope i didnt just spoil it!! lol

Guess not. In any case, I thought it was a great episode. I'm not sure how I feel about the "killer" yet. The situation is ambiguous and there have been theories about who shot her. So I remain undecided.

That truly was a great episode!

Did anyone notice that the little boy was carrying around a teddy bear after the plane crashed... the same teddy bear that was seen passing by with 'the others' when Jin and that big dude were in the bushes hiding.... Hope that means all the children are ok.

The episode made me not hate Ana as much though. We kind of see why she's gotten the way she has... they can't trust anybody.

I think that all of Michelle Rodriguez's characters are kind of like that. It depends what you think about tough, mean girls.

i saw that too!! also on the radio, someone said that mr. echo has a dharma tatoo...don't know if that is true or not. also, i thought that was cool when they showed them talking on the radio and it was boone and locke on the other side!

Do we know for sure that Shannon died and it wasn't a fake-out - that the newish person who earlier in the episode got dragged off was the 'dead' one instead?

Also, what does dead really mean in this show? Who knows she might come back.

Executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse reveal: It's always possible [Shannon] could pop up in someone's backstory. But she is definitely dead. When a character dies on the island, they stay dead. In the same moment that we decided Shannon would die, [we also decided that] Ana-Lucia would be responsible for that death. It would be the first time one castaway was responsible for killing another, and it would give so much inherent conflict and trauma [heading to] the merge. We're walking a very tenuous tightrope with her, but we feel that over the course of the next two episodes the audience will hopefully get a better understanding for that character and what she's been through. [Shannon] was shot. Walt's disappearance and, ultimately, Michael's efforts to reunite with him were part of a grander plan.

so yeah shannon is dead and ana lucia killed her. you can read the rest of the spoilers there, didn't wanna post all for those that haven't gotten to season 2 yet.
