aghh I'm even more confused now. but at least we know all that pushing the button wasn't worthless.and thanks for pointing out the army guy who was in the hatch with desmond, totally forgot about him. I could remember him as the pet cemetary guy but blanked on him & sayeed. doh.

The guy in the hatch with Desmond is also Kate's father. Remember, he has a photo of her in his jeep while driving with Sayid.

^They weren't the same person, actually - Joe Inman (Now we know him as Kelvin Inman, too) was the CIA operative who trained Sayid, while Sam Austen is Kate's father and the person who first apprehends Sayid.

About the Widmore's:
Penelope and Penny are one in the same so she's Desmond's psycho stalker girlfriend who is the heiress of the billion dollar Widmore family fortune (which is being used to bankroll the Hanso Foundation). Kate's pregnancy test and Henry's balloon were made by Widmore Labs so that gives you an idea of how embedded in this mystery they are. Penny uses daddy's money to hire 2 Porteguese guys to sit in Antartica monitoring for electromagnetic disturbances and call her when they find out. What a fun job eh?

My take: She's Persephone. She's pissed at daddy for keeping her from her man and now she wants revenge. Charles found out that Desmond was planning on winning the race and using the money to get his girl back so he sent him back to prison...LOST style. Penny found out about daddy's evil trick and now she's out to bring him and the Hanso Foundation down and get her man back. Watch out..Season 3 is going to be more of a soap opera than ever. Were you thinking "soap opera" when she picks up the phone at the end? I sure was.

I saw on news that Harold Perrineau -who plays Michael- led on in an interview that he most likely will be back next year. I didn't think Michael and Walt would really be gone, it was too easy. I checked his filmography and it said he played Mercutio in Romeo + Juliet. I knew he looked familiar

^ loved him as Mercutio. and he was in the Matrix Revolutions too I think but have to say I hate him intensely in Lost even before he killed those two.

I forgot about the big *** pre-historic looking bird! What the f*ck was up with that!?? And there wasn't enough of the monster too.

polka_dot do you mean Persephone as in greek mythology? Persephone who was kidnapped by Hades; made to live half the year with him and half the year with her mother so that is how we have seasons?

That was such a good final. Even though it was a bit weird I have been waiting for Claire and Charlie to get together since like ep 5 and I'm glad Kate looked at Jack and not Sawyer.

i think Danielle's daughter is Alex, the sympathetic member of the Others...the one that let Claire go when they were going to steal her baby and the one that was asking Michael if she had the baby, if it was a boy or a girl, etc....

Okay so last night we had the first Henry Gale episode, and I remember you guys talking about how creepy the look was that he gave Sayid after he had been 'interrogated' - and I got shivers! He was so weird!
