^i think it is just the first 3 episodes that will be slow because the writers are making it like a 3 part premiere so we know what happened to the different groups from where the finale left off.

i have to agree, i mean when that guy on this week's show (don't know his name) said they had been on the island for 69 days i was like what?! that means that each season is only like a month long on the island.

Oh, that's a neat anagram! I can't think of anything Jin and Sun would've done though. I can't even think of any connections they had with anyone else on the island before they got there.

But, really! He needs eyebrows. Did Sayid do that to him last season?

Am I the only one that likes Juliet so far?

I completely agree that Benry needs some eyebrows already. Its out of control someone buy him a pencil liner so he can draw them in ala Joan Crawford.

What I'd like to know is...
How long the others have REALLY been on the island and what their connection to the outside world is. I don't believe that Ben has been on the island since he was born. Does he live on the island only part of the time? He seemed to know an awful lot about life off the island. Granted that information can be transported via internet / reading / television and so on but if so who is allowing for that? Does Dharma send them info much like how they send food and supplies?

Also how did the others manage to conceal their settlement? The island isn't that big to hide a whole settlement like that. Last season when Sawyer, Jin, Michael and the tailies had to walk across the island why didn't they see anything? I just feel like the Others' camp looks pretty large yet its entirely concealed.

Jin and Sun are always great. They're such a wonderful couple and I love when their backstory is explored. I wonder how much Jin has been understanding lately now that his English has improved. I wonder about the anagram too. Maybe it has something to do with Sun's father. I've always wondered if he had something to do with the plane crash or with Dharma in general.

I liked Sayid alot in this episode. Say what you will about him but the man has got a plan for every situation. I've always wondered why he didn't step up to be leader. He's clearly got the experience, moreso than Jack or Locke who are at constant odds over leadership.

I like how Danielle was in this last episode. I hope we get more French Lady this season. She's always so good. julesrulesJack is so pretty when he cries. I agree with you totally.

I can't wait for the next episode we get DESMOND!!! Plus Locke and Mr. Eko. I really want to see what they're going to do with Locke this season as Season 1 he was my favorite and then in season 2 his character just lost it. I miss zen Locke.

When are the new boys showing up? Nathan and Rodrigo are quite easy on the eyes.

I am re-watching season 2 on DVD with a friend... I had missed a couple of episodes this year, so it's interesting to see some stuff I missed! It's also so much fun to see her reacting to most of the season that she didn't see! We are totally Sawyer vs Jack fiends.

That guy in the plaid shirt with long hair from Locke's flashback at the lodging place looks sooo familiar! Was he the patient from Jack's flashback or is he one of the others? I can't remember!!!! Btw, this has got to be the weirdest and most confusing episode yet!

Ok. So.

Does Desmond now have the ability to see in the future OR are he Locke & Eko now bonded mentally due to whatever happened during that hatch explosion. I feel as though D definitely has some sort of power now but I couldn't tell whether that moment Locke had with Eko was a result of him having powers or Locke hallucinating.

Locke Consistently has the best episodes. Every bit of his backstory is interesting and mysterious. With some characters only certain elements are great but with him (and Eko) I'm always on the edge of my seat. His little drug induced dream with Boone was very interesting. I'm going to have to watch this episode again and freeze frame during that because I'm sure there were about 10,000 sekkrit hints dropped during that part.

I'm also very curious about the connection between Locke's little weed hideaway and the Dharma corp. I know there has to be a connection. I did feel like the long haired guy from his flashback was absolutely a member of the Others. His face was so familiar.


Locke keeps developing these father/son (mentor / apprentice) relationships with young men. The cop in his flashback, Boone, Charlie, Walt to some extent and so on so forth. Its very interesting given his relationship with his own father. He seems to be on a constant search for family.

Ok and WTF was with Paulo" Rodrigo Santoro's character just showing up randomly and being instantly accepted as a part of things. He was not there before and yet Locke and everyone else knew him. Is some kind of jedi mind trick type of thing going on? I am so confused.

I don't remember seeing Rodrigo in the episode. I'm kind of upset about having to watch it in my dorm room b/c my room mate is always talking on the phone at the same time that Lost is on. So I can't fully pay attention. I also missed Locke giving his speech at the end of the episode that Desmond was talking about.
I think Locke's drug trip thing was mostly a metaphor for where everyone was on the island. Like, Jack Kate and Sawyer were grouped together along with Ben at the security check place. Jin Sun and Sayid were standing in line next to eachother.
