Yes, I thought about that connection. (Saving that girl in the end can be some hint about Ben's surgery maybe?) Actully the most emotional scenes of last night's episode were when Jack saw Kate and when Jack asked her to run.
About Thailand...in last season Jack once told Sawyer that he spent some time in Phuket (in Thailand).

ohhhh i didn't remember that part from last season. thanks! I totally agree about the emotional parts of the episode. the part where jack and kate got to see eachother was so sad and jack looked so happy  i love him. they actually showed that scene on the lost website as a preview for that episode and i watched it about 10 times. :innocent:

I have a problem. I can't stop watching Lost because Sawyer a.k.a. Josh Holloway is so incredibly handsome. I mean...he's spectacular.

Sawyer is definately one of the top 3 reasons to watch Lost. The other 2 are obviously Jack and Kate.

I am probably in the minority. I don't like Sawyer at all. His flashbacks so far are all repetitive, con all the way.

although i do like sawyer, i like jack alot more. the kate/sawyer thing was hot but i am still upset that she didn't pick jack. :( no i have to pout about it for 3 1/2 more months!

edit: oops! i forgot to put spoilers in white!

I am on Kate/Jack ship, these two have more chemistry and much hotter.

Do you think the writers might creat a Jack/Juliet story?

Can I just say that I've rented season one and understandably I'm hooked all over again? I think I"ll be the blockbuster nerd and rent the whole series!

dlg

Oh.. I love both "Kate + Jack" and "Kate + Sawyer", so I don't know... I feel so sorry, SO sorry for Jack!!! but then again I loooove Sawyer and I think he really loves Kate and he's so cute and I love him so much!!

hahahaah look at me, all gushy!

umm...I have to admit that it's not all that much his flashbacks I am paying most attention on...:D
anyways, today is Lost day and I'm looking forward already, new epidsode will be on in an hour :woot:

Lost has finally lost me :( I want to like it, I really do, but the Kate/Sawyer hookup was like something out of those bad hurt/comfort fanfics written by 12 year olds. And please! No way off the island? You got on the island, somehow. Ergo... You can see "your" island really really well - it's not like swimming the English Channel. You have arms and youth and strength. Barring that, there are boats. Or heck, a log to hang onto and paddle.

Maybe the fish biscuits rot brain cells. And what the hell kind of social skills do Benry and company have?! All the mind games and torture and manipulations and costumes...wouldn't it have been easier just to say, hey there, we'll scratch your back if you scratch ours?

The only way I'll come back is if Jack flies into homicidal rage and slaughters everyone except Desmond, Claire, Aaron, and Sun, before feeding himself to the polar bear (who I think is Hurley). Jin and Sayid can live too, but they need a good thumping. And sorry, Locke, I don't love you any more. Not with all the stupidity and endless self-absorption. I expected more from you.

wow...you really don't like the show anymore. but i totally get how the kate/sawyer thing sounded like some fanfic! honestly how could anyone have any sex drive in a hot dirty cage. i mean they're all grimy and stuff. i guess it might sound kinda sexy but in reality i bet it isnt! is that tmi?

I want to like the show, I really really do! It's just driving me bonkers lately. I do admit, if it wasn't going on hiatus, I'd still be there week after week, grumbling and swearing and falling asleep and keeping my fingers crossed for more Desmond, and some Sun/Jin/Tent of Love scenes :brows: But being forced to skip it for 13 weeks probably - hopefully - will be enough to break the habit.

I knew I had to give it up when I missed Mr. Eko's last scene despite being interested, and him being one of my favorite characters. I thought I was awake through the whole episode, and enjoying it, I saw the credits rolling, but then people were talking about what happened and I was like, what? How'd I miss that?

My main problem is that I don't think they're giving us any satisfactory answers after 2 1/2 seasons, and I feel insulted. I adore mysteries, but they aren't very adept at giving us one. There needs to be both give and take on the part of the writers. They need to give us some answers - real, satisfactory, unequivocal, intelligent answers that make sense - to some questions while introducing the new questions. I feel like the only thing we've figured out for sure is that Desmond was responsible for turning on the light in the hatch when Locke was banging on it. And speaking of Desmond, do we know why he continued to take the antidote after he knew there was no sickness? I used to be able to go with the flow with this show, and enjoy it for what it is, but I'm reaching my breaking point.

And yes, Kate/Sawyer had to be sooooo scungy  :D
