White writing - I think Lapidus (the pilot) dropped the tracking device to tell the people on the beach to stay as far away from where the helicopter is going and to be able to track where Keamy and his people are on the island once they land. However the people on the beach wouldn't really know that he dropped it as a warning to tell them to stay away as the attack was launched where the Others used to live. So then Jack surmised that they dropped the pack with the tracker on the beach so they could follow them. NOT GOOD!!!
I think Claire is definitely dead - which is okay with me. We won't have to hear her whine about her "baaaaybaaay" any longer!

^^I had the same though fairy. Although maybe Charlie techinicaly didn't die on the island, but he drowned in the underwater hatch.

^Jacque- If Claire is dead, she died in the episode a few weeks back when the freighter people blew up her house in the Others community. Even though Sawyer found her and brought her back to the others hiding in another house, I guess she still could have been dead then.

interesting idea about locke from -as always-the genius that is jeff jensen.(entertainment weekly's lost guru):white writing..
"There was a moment last night when Ben accused Locke of manipulating Hurley into going with them to Jacob's cabin by using Ben-patented reverse psychology. Locke denied doing so, saying, ''I'm not you.'' Ben jumped on this, saying, ''You're certainly not.''

Now, do the timeline math. Locke is born early. At age 5, he takes a test that most likely would have taken him to the Island if he had passed. He didn't. That same year, Benjamin Linus is born. At age 16, Locke is invited to go to a science camp that again would have taken him to the Island. He refused. About that same time, Benjamin Linus and his father joined the Dharma Initiative. The implication, it seems, is that Ben has been walking the path that was originally meant for Locke. Ben was the contingency plan — the course correction — for Locke's altered destiny. But Ben is his own person, of course, and he has done things differently from what Locke would have done, and this, in turn, has created further changes in the original order of things — changes that I think a certain ticked-off, Island-deprived billionaire named Charles Widmore is trying to reverse. The scene at the rehab center between paralyzed adult Locke and his wheelchair pusher, the creepy Matthew Abbaddon — who accepted the description of ''orderly'' with knowing irony — was meant to suggest one way Widmore is scheming to restore the original order: by getting Locke on that Island and taking back the birthright that was supposed to be his".

lmao about claire

one more interesting theory from jeff jensen..it's just a theory but it might be considered spoilerish, because it makes sense and explains a lot about the "island move"that was suggested to locke..really recommend reading the whole 5 pages of his episode recap..
in white again--->"As we saw at the end of the episode, Locke's plan for saving the Island is moving the Island. Now, I have no idea how he intends to do that. But if I'm tracking correctly the weird science Lost has been laying down this season, I wonder if where we're headed is a catastrophic gambit in which Locke will move the Island not only in space but also in time, which I'm guessing will cause some kind of massive retroactive course correction — or, rather, already has enacted a course correction. In fact, I wonder if the secret to many of the metaphysical mysteries of Lost is that all of the show's drama is playing out against the backdrop of a timeline that's in flux — where old history is giving way to new history as the consequences of Locke's future Island-saving actions trickle down through time. And so that wreckage of Oceanic 815 at the bottom of the ocean? That isn't a hoax — at least, not in the new timeline taking hold. That's real. And it will be John the "Quantum Ripper's" fault."

White - does it seem to everyone else that "Lost" is getting really bloody? EVERYONE gets shot or hit or dies. Seems a little overboard. :ermm:

Part of me don't believe Claire is dead because of a psychic's warning and Desmond's vision.

this last episode was soooo mind-boggling!!
how old is that richard guy, anyways?
like most of you guys, I do believe claire may be dead. however, jack did see his father on the island too, some time before. AND off the island, mind you, some time later. and Locke saw him too, and talked to him. So there is a possibility that claire is actually alive and simply interacting with christian just like locke did in the cabin.

Hum, well, I have to watch it again...

The last episode was really good. Claire must be dead for sure, but I think it´s kinda strange how cool she is about not being with her baby. That detail really kept me thinking...

Finally Jack knows.
I am curious about how the Oceanic 6 leave the island. All have left the beach camp now. Sun (with Aaron) looked suspicious after leaving the RF room. Is she going somewhere? Love how she stood up to her dad.

^^Whats the RF room? I thought it was an ok episode tonight. Not too much new information, I guess it was just filling in the blanks on how they came to be the Oceanic Six.

Enjoyed the episode. I looooved the music and the reunion scene.

white> So now we know that Jack knows Claire is/was his half sister. And that when he said in the flash forward (when fighting with Kate) "He's not even related to you!", he was aware that he in fact is. When I first saw Claire's mom I thought it was Penny haha

Also, I thought it was a bad idea to try to pass off Aaron as Kate's biological son. I've mentioned it before in a previous post but I just can't imagine the police authorities would be that stupid to not realize Kate was not pregnant at the time of her arrest. And there's no way Aaron looks 5 weeks old. I thought it would have been a more plausible idea to say that Aaron's mother survived the crash, gave birth to him, but died.

I don't know what else to say for now other than I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK

I still don't know how they came to be the Six who are now in two or three separate places.

The RF room is the room where Desmond found the source (a pile of explosives) that caused RF interference. (I called it that way 'cause I thought it was a room for radio something. :flower: ) I think in that room Jin was like telling Sun to leave as far as possible. Keamy might use some kind of remote control device to blow up the freighter and Jin, Michael, and Desmond might die. Back to Korea, Sun mentioned that her father was one of the two who were responsible for Jin's death. Who is the other one?

^ maybe Keamy??

Man, I can't wait anotehr 2 weeks either!!!! Aaarrghhhh
I was very touched by the scene where Jack finds out that Claire is his sister. It was especially touching because he was surprised and aware of who she was but couldn't let the woman notice it. Great acting by Matthew Fox btw, I'm loving him more and more

I agree with the whole "Kate's baby" story, it's just stupid. Anyone who saw her at the time of her arrest would know she wasn't six months pregnant

And OMG that Richard guy keeps popping up EVERYHWERE!!! Looking JUST the same
He so freaks me out.

But what's bugging me more is: who was on the plane with the Oceanic 6? Aside from the pilot, the co-pilot and that Oceanic lady, there was some guy sitting down with them in the back. When the Oceanic lady goes tell them they are landing, she first nods to that 7th person, as if saying "hi"... At one point we can see him sitting down... I'll try and get a cap. It couldn't be Ben.... maybe it was that creepy Richard guy??

:bounce:

I´m already with withdrawal symptoms because of this week.

How am I gonna do till season 5 starts?

Oh Gee! I was better off before I got hooked on LOST this year. I saw all the first 3 seasons in January-February- March. And now I´m a straightforward junkie.

I agree that the story about Aaron being Kate´s baby is just silly.

When they crashed on the island Claire (who´s really skinny) was obviously and evidently VERY pregnant, with a ginormous belly, while Kate´s tummy was flat as a board.

Besides that, Kate was seen in that "thin-non-preggo state" by A LOT of people, because she had been in jail and she was placed in the airport by the police.

****Maybe this will be used in next season. I mean maybe somebody (police officers, jail people) will question her being Aaron´s mum****

I´m so looking forward the finale. We´re gathering a bunch of friends to watch it.:woot::woot:

Q&A: Evangeline Lilly of 'Lost'Q: Lost has a lot to live up to in its finales. Last season's was one of the best episodes of the series, and I know it's important to the writers and producers to make the show's finales memorable. Do you think this year's stacks up to the finales of seasons past?A: I think it blows them away. I think the Season 3 finale was really good, but I think this season, our finale is the most hard-hitting finale we've ever done. It completely revolutionizes the face of our show. I have no idea what my show is going to look like next year based on the finale. And that's really exciting as an actress. It keeps you interested.More on MSN
