I can't wait for the 2hr finale :D Unfortunatly I live in the UK so whilst some get too see it on thursday night, I get it on friday morning. Still though... eeeeeeeeee :D

This episode is insane  Although I think I managed to guess half of the plot points before seeing the episode, it's still strange to see it all play out.

Wonder what the cliffhanger will be! :ninja:

Same here. I could guess some of the plots.
The way Sun told Michael that she's pregnant was kinda strange. I almost thought that she's having his baby. (Well...this would be too soapy.)
Charlotte's story seems very interesting..."finding her birthplace" and "coming back"...Was she born on the island?

Long wait for the next season.

2 straight hours of Lost is really hard to handle! The end really confused me (the reveal of who was in the casket.) I don't get why Jeremy Bentham (I'm using extra precaution with my spoilers ;)) got off the island because I thought he believed the Losties were never supposed to leave the island. And the "mission" given to Jack at the end didn't really make sense to me either as for the reason of it. Why do they all have to go back? It actually brought to my mind the theory posted by melfreya in #1773. It makes sense, right? Now that the island has magically moved (either in space or time) to god knows where, could it be possible that the Oceanic 6 can travel to the island at a time when their old selves are also there?
I hope its not too early to talk in detail about the finale. I don't want to ruin it for anyone!

UGHHH I wrote a long post but accidentally clicked the back button.

Love Letter, check out http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Buried_Secrets , and then you might understand the exchange between Sun and Michael better.

Don't highlight if you don't want spoilers

The person in the coffin... I TOTALLY called it. Locke was my very first guess when we saw the first flashfoward. Honestly I thought it was the only one that really made sense (my second guess was Ben for some reason). After all, once Jack got off the island he eventually realized what a mistake that was and how badly he wanted to get back. The one person who understood the value of the island is gone. Jack regretted fighting against him. And yeah, it's sort of confusing as to how Locke managed to get off the island himself, but I guess that's how bad he wanted the Oceanic 6 to come back. I wonder what "bad things" happened on the island once they left.
- CHRISTIAN: "You can go now" SHUDDER. I guess that means Michael can (and did) finally die. I think Jin is still alive. I honestly don't think the Lost producers would be that mean that they wouldn't allow him to live to see his child. That, and I bet $5 with my friend that he would live to the end of the series. PLEASE LIVE JIN! Since the boat exploded, does this mean the majority of Losties actually ARE dead? (Since Daniel helped moved them all from the island to the boat)
- Walt is freaking OLDDDDD.
- Another Dharma Initiative Orientation video. those things creep me out. My friend pointed out that all the aliases the tall Asian man uses in each video are all related to candles (Marvin Candle, Mark Wickmund, Edgar Halliwax)... interesting.
- LOVE Ben!
"You just killed everybody on that boat!!"
"...So?"
- Sawyer is amazing. I think he told Kate to tend to his daughter Clementine (which Kate ended up doing and Jack got angry about it in the flashforward)
- "Checkmate, Mr. Eko".. does this mean Hurley sees him too?
- Kate's dream was pretty nuts
- The scene where the Oceanic 6 saw Penny's boat in the distance reminded me of the scene where the Others took Walt away from Michael

Overall, it was an okay finale. Season 1 and 3 were definitely my favourites. Honestly, the time travelling thing is confusing me. I still haven't warmed up to the whole idea of it, and I don't think I'd be happy if the producers used time travel as a way to sum up and explain for the existence of the island.

And I'll be  if there's another writer's/actor's strike next year. I felt robbed this season.

omg that was crazy, i'm lost
anyway after four seasons lost still owns me

I knew about the exchange between Sun and Michael. That is why I felt that their conversation somehow had other meaning. :flower:

I thought Sawyer told kate to tend to his daughter as well.. But why is it so bad that Jack would get angry? Jealous? I have to admit that Jack has not been my favorite character since two seasons ago. When Frank said they had to lose some weight, Jack's facial expression kinda said "NOT ME!"

aaaahhh its so hard not to read the spoilers but i have to be strong

spoiler explanation from jeff jensen at ew.com
white-->
As for Ben, we now know how he wound up in his Dharma parka in the Tunisian desert at the start of ''The Shape of Things to Come'': Apparently, that's where he landed after he moved the Island. The date: October 24, 2005, or about 10 months from when Ben moved the Island. So...where did the Island go? Nowhere. My guess is that it's in the same spot where it's always been — it just rematerialized in reality 10 months in the future, just like Ben.

and a funny note, again from jeff jensen's ew recap
again in white,maybe spoilerish..-->

Until then, a prediction: I'll bet you 20 bucks that either the teaser or the final scene of the season 5 premiere episode will feature one character — I'm betting Sawyer — renewing one of the oldest Lost mysteries by repeating the iconic question of the pilot episode. As they wrap their minds around the riddle of their mysteriously displaced Island, Sawyer — or someone — absolutely must say:
''Guys...where are we?'' BONG! :D

omg, I'm just blown away
so much information!!!

I was pretty much gonna point out everything you mentioned, December 25th!

Plus (spoiler for those who havent seen the finale) --> What the heck did Sun mean by "You know we weren't the only ones to leave the island"? Did she only mean Ben (and maybe Locke) or did other people leave??? Jeez....

And what's with those "Brazilian" guys on Penny's boat again? weren't them on the north pole or sth? hehehe And I don1t understand why they didnt get actors who really speak Brazilian. Their pronunciation is too fake :P

And oh my God, I hope Jin hasn't died too! But I think he really did .... Well, I'm just glad Sawyer is alive (for now).

Oh, and I totally did not get that whole thing about Charlotte being born on the island... and Miles knowing it.

I am NOT able to wait for next season, not even for a week, let alone months.

I would have balled my eyes out on the first one!!!thank god they didn't go with that!!

I cried when Sun had to see Jin die on the freighter  but I was so happy to see Desmond and Penny reunite ^_^

Jin is so totally alive. I'm so adamant about it. I feel like I've known Lost enough to know when it's time for people to die, and i definitely don't think it was his turn. ONLY TIME WILL TELL!
