and louis is going to be the inspiration for brazilian fashion designer Mario Queiroz for his next collection that will be presented in july at the SPFW(Sao Paulo Fashion Week, in Brazil)

^really? i wonder what exactly will inspire the designer, because i don't think of louis as a fashionably inspiring person... i mean, he's always very well dressed, so he can inspire young men to dress well, but there's nothing particularly creative about his style like, say, johnny depp. his style just matches his atittude, very nonchalant, which is very appealing, and timeless, but not necessarily capable to inspire a collection because it's all about louis himself, his je ne sais quoi, not the clothes... well maybe he's just an example, maybe the inspiration will be french chic in general...?

hmm it makes sense since it's the year of france in brazil... i'm curious to see how this will turn out. most of the brazilian collections are generally lacklustre and uncreative, which is a shame, because there are competent and creative people in brazil, just not in the fashion industry...
now looking at your avatar, i can't believe i missed la belle personne it was screening in a theater that is too far from my house and i ended up not watching it... i'll have to wait until the dvd release i suppose.

Mario Queiroz reaveled where he got the inspiration to create his new collection, that will be presented on this edition of the São Paulo Fashion Week. According to Monica Bergamo column, from the newspaper Folha de S.Paulo, the french actor Louis Garrel was the designer's muse

" I created the clothes thinking about dressing man like him" said Queiroz to the column. The fashion week starts on june 17 until the 22nd. Mario will present his colletion on the 21st, at 6pm.

i've never seen this movie, so i can't say whether i was able to take it seriously or not, but i can't help laughing when i watch musicals, i just can't, when people start singing out of nowhere... i think there are very few musicals i like.

I hate musicals too, with a few exceptions. But in this case, I don't think the music bother me that much because I was so hipnotized by Louis the whole time

Everyone should see this film! I absolutely love it, it's quirky, tender and heart-breaking. The songs are sang naturistically so it doesn't jarr. No jazz hands here
