Louis Vuitton "Alma" : Karlie, Daria, Jac and Iris by Steven Klein

I like the idea for the campaign but the photos just do not deliver - so strangely photoshopped that the girls look more like badly positioned mannequins.

There's no reason this couldn't have been a thousand times better than it is. It's shocking to think a team are hired and paid what they are.. to produce such shockingly bad outcomes. This is atrocious from start to finish. If I was behind Louis Vuitton, I would of refused to run these. It's a rendition of reality, when the reality is perfectly accessible, so what's the point?. The idea was there but the execution resulted in a total nightmare.

I really think that Iris shoot in other day and was added by photoshop.

^ I think that most if not all of the models were shot at different times and the images we are seeing are composites.

^ thanks for posting.

This is a special image for Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets, with Chinese actress Fan Bing Bing in place of Karlie.

And every time something like this gets published, it only serves to give the green light to other companies and magazines that it's OK to produce imagery like this. That if we're force-fed enough content of this standard, people will come to think it's fine and accept it.

When we enter the world of fashion, we want reality to be manipulated. But we've reached the stage where the end result of digital alteration is an endemic one-dimensional dullness, rather than any sort of carefully-crafted fantasy.

well, Fan Bingbing just takes the cake. who knew that a horrible campaign could be made even worse.

that is quite possibly the worst angle of fan bing bing i've seen in my entire life.

“Chic on the bridge”, I like the concept, but some images doesn't look "natural", may be the light or something... my best is the paris at night shot.
