Firstly, i would never buy a fake. of course it's me, and not you.
If you're going to go designer, do the real thing, because when you REALLY think about it, no one CARES what luggage you have. Everyone's moving in and out of an airport. And while they might take a glance at your luggage, its not going to be like they'll have you imprinted in their minds forever. Besides, you don't want to give off the impression that you're "oh-so-wealthy" when you really can't afford the real thing, because then, excuse me if it comes off rude, you'll be just as fake as your bag.
now then, my family travels a lot. so i knew the importance of luggage, i have 2 keepalls, a 45, and a 60. as well as a Pegases and and 2 trunks. At the airport, they're ridiculous. while nice to look at, they're incredibly heavy. I only use the 45 as a carry-on, or a weekender bag, and the 60, if packed fully, is an arm workout on its own. the trunks arnt that light either, and i only use those on road trips.
my suggestion? buy the real thing, or save your money and get really durable, light, and cheaper luggage, Tumi has amazing pieces that is definately money well spent.
