Lucky Magazine

I'm disappointed that Lucky would chose Avril Lavigne for their cover.

I always feel like she belongs to teen mags no matter how hard she tries to be more "glamorous" and hangs out with Lagerfeld at fashion shows...:innocent:

Truer words were never said.

Slightly bigger cover:

 Not my first thought when I think of fashion and design, but whatever...

I prefer when Lucky goes with actresses. I loved the Parker Posey cover last month and the Ali Larter cover was pretty nice too but I'm not adverse to an Avril cover. Lucky is one of the few magazines wherein the cover doesn't matter that much to me.

I love her music. I find a lot of depth in her lyrics(in certain songs). I'm a fan and I think she's very photogenic but she's rather immature and has poor composure during interviews. She needs some media training.

they've had such beautiful covers lately, it's a shame that this one turned out like this.

Lucky June 2007 : Katherine McPhee

from luckymag.com...sorry it's so small!

I think Lucky needs to start switching up the cover outfits more. It seems like they make the celebrities wear the same outfit, but in different colors.

^ Thank you! I'm glad that I'm not the only one that noticed. ^_^

Although I'd much rather see models on mags but who cares when it's Lucky and Katharine is so beautiful.

i got this issue today, and it's pretty good for a june issue...

"the office dress code challenge": five women can't show up to work in just anything...we show them how to follow the rules and still look stylish

the lucky summer jewelry guide: organic curves, white watches, clear stones, bohemian brights, open weave gold

"summer's best neutrals"

"6 essential summer pieces": babydoll top, floral button down, silk mini, trouser jeans, floaty printed dress, soft jacket

"bold ethic pieces" how to wear with streamlined basics

also:

dine-in boutiques
makeup artist's secret weapon: soft peach

lucky is just a fantastic magazine. always has interesting/informative segments.. seems like the cover person only has like a half a page anyway!

I feel the same way, actually—their covers are anything but memorable, though the contents are decent.

I really don't like her.

Do Lucky magazines usually have interviews? No?

^Not really.. it's more like "favorite places to shop" or "must-have items" haha.. celebs play a very small role in this magazine (which is why I love it)
