man, you guys are rolling in some serious dough to afford shopping like that...the thought of paying $50 for shipping on top of already expensive clothing trips the hell out of me, needless to say I won't be buying from that site.

This happened very recently, the jeans came maybe 2 months ago and the bill 1 month ago. I haven't paid the bill yet and just got a second notice a couple days ago. Ast first I was like, screw this, but now I'm thinking I'm going to have to pay it. Getting blacklisted by FedEx and never being able to get anything delivered by them would suck. I have a feeling though Alex that if they didn't hold your package you probably won't get a bill.

the prices listed on the site include the VAT charges, but if you live out of europe they minus that out which makes the item significantly cheaper then here in the states. but all these international fees is what kills it.

These b*stards sold my boots in the store at the same time I ordered them. So I guess I don't have to worry about extra charges any more, do I?

does anything happen besides them not delivering to your house if you dont pay? do you get in trouble with a collection agency or the law or do they charge interest to the fee.

danimal, my experience with fedex was a pain in the **** too... i had two chloe bags comin in from the uk via fedex and it should have come in about two days, but then i got "the call" and she told me that i wouldn't get charged fees if i declared them as personal use but that it would take longer as they have to put different paperwork through... i think she prolly just didn't know what she was talking about but i ended up getting a bill anyway and it was about 170 USD (the total for my bags was about 1700 USD). i just disputed it cuz they delayed my bags for soooo long... almost like two weeks and totally misinformed me. so as of now i haven't paid that bill yet... grr to fedex.

I'm starting to think I should dispute this bill. The lady on the phone never told me there was a "personal use" option, even though it doesnt sound like that option has worked out too well for you yet meowmix. I have no idea what happens if I don't pay this bill, as it hasn't gotten to the point that they're sending me threatening letters. My second bill was the same as the first except it says PAST DUE on it. They didn't even give me an envelope to send them payment in! grrr to fedex indeed.

ok i guess im not getting my package for a while. it said i was supposed to receive it by now but i called fedex and they said my package was locked up with customs and they wouldnt release it. god wtf....

update: yes i got the freakin "call" from a fedex lady. god damn it. my package is gonna be held for at least 5 days at customs. she asked me if it was for personal use or resale, i said personal use. she wanted to fax me papers but i dont own a fax so she said the procedure may take longer.
