Mad Men

I wish John Slattery or Elisabeth were nominated as well - but great for January and Jon!

It was more difficult for those two because GG combine all TV genres into one Supporting Actor and one Supporting Actress categories. So you have people from TV movies, miniseries, comedy and drama all fighting for those 5 spots. But hopefully it will be different at the Emmys where they all have their separate categories.

Now we need to make JJ wins. Who's up for performing favors for Golden Globe voters?

^Yes, I am aware of the discrepancy in classification  But nevertheless I still feel that their performances should not be overlooked...but to compete with the likes of In Treatment, John Adams, and Recount is definitely rough -_-

I was really annoyed for a second when I was reading the nomination listings because I almost didn't spot January's name.

So happy that it got three noms, but especially for JJ, so hope she wins, because i think she did a great job in season 2.

I'm so happy that January Jones got nominated. I thought she was phenomenal this season. Congratulations to Jon Hamm and the show itself for getting another nomination. It's a shame that none of the others actors or actresses were nominated in the supporting categories but the competition is so much wider for supporting roles.

I think January will win, but I am surprised Elisabeth was overlooked. I thought she was amazing in the finale...

You guys, three nominations for Mad Men from Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG).

Best Ensemble in a Drama Series - Mad Men
Best Actor in a Drama Series - Jon Hamm
Best Actress in a Drama Series - Elizabeth Moss!!!

I wish January had been nominated as well, but YAY for Elizabeth Moss. One for GG, one for SAG, both for Emmys (hopefully).

Too bad Elizabeth Moss didn't win at the SAG...

Well she got one as member of the Mad Men ensemble. ;) But yeah, I know what you mean. Same with January at the Globes. Hopefully they'll have better luck at the Emmys.

If anyone in the UK hasn't seen season 2 and is interested, it starts this Friday 13th feb on BBC4 at 11.30 p.m.:D

Just finished watching Season 2 on DVD, didnt like how it ended though. Can't wait for Season 3!!

Congratulations on the Emmy nominations. I wanted to see January Jones (lead) and Catherine Hendricks (supporting) get nominations, though. Great for Elisabeth Moss, though! She is so good.
