Emily DiDonato’s cover feature for Madame Figaro’s latest is just the type of story I look forward to this time of year! Yet given the crisis we’re living in right now, I find myself relishing over those photos even more so than I normally would, because I’m doubtful we’ll be encountering many more throughout 2020!

They do tend to work well in advance when it comes to bigger name models. A few posts back Alessandra Ambrosio did a shoot with her kids, but the candids of that were posted at least 3 months back in her model thread. So I'm hoping they've done the swimwear special already! Sadly the high summer specials, those I doubt they'd have shot already.

LOL. My first thoughts as well.
The effect of lockdown is very much evident in this issue. The main 'fashion' edit is made up of a variety of single images from editorials published over the past few months, all posted in this thread already. Not unpublished ones or outtakes, PUBLISHED ONES that already appeared in print. Basically they've reprinted their own edits.

Love the Elle Mac cover story. A subtle use of an old shoot (from Russian Vogue circa 2015) but still feels fresh today. This is how you produce a magazine during a pandemic - Would rather see a little-seen shoot from a few years ago instead of something shot on someone's iPhone at home.
