I got it from the marc jacobs boutique in dubai. they had it also in white and brown.
the seller told me that she'd got insured and that she was going to use express mail but since the package was taking too long to get here, i called my postal office to see what was going on and they said that my tracking number was not for express mail. she's now blaming the postal office because she told them to use express and they didnt (do u find it believable? cause i dont ) so i'm worried she didnt get it insured either.
On the other hand im sure she has proof of delivery so paypal wont refund me, she wont refund me, maybe IF there's an insurance it will refund me but i dont think it could cover the full 750$.
So i've lost the money.
And the bag ;(

But since there is a tracking number, the post office should be able locate it because that's the purpose of a tracking number (even when it's not express mail). Are you sure it got lost because half of the time my packages from the US end up being held up at customs and take forever to get to me. So maybe it just takes longer?

Really? Has it ever happened to you before? I never had any problems but I noticed that ALL express mail items from the US are being held up at customs all the time. It has to do with the insurance amount or something like that so maybe the same thing happened to your package?
to me only once: i bought a canvas tote over ebay and after 2 months i got the package...empty!!it has been opened and riclosed with the tape, and obviously the bag was gone. in Italy we have lots of problems with the postal office, things never reach destination, things get lost because they steal them, customs take forever.
But the thing is, i clearly asked her for express mail and im sure she didnt use it someone told me that the tracking number for express should begin with E, mine begins with CP, but if i report it to paypal she wins cos she has proof of delivery

oh, that's a difficult situation you're in. Have you tried to work with the seller as she is responsible and should have mailed express in the first place. Sorry to hear that the Italian post isn't reliable. Knowing that I would be scared too. Over here nobody ever opens packages except for the customs.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that it will show up eventually. Maybe it just takes longer because she didn't send it express.

OH Shoegal, that's just terrible!! I really do feel for you. I've bought a few bags from overseas, but never have any problems, but have heard about others having that same problem (mainly with European postage it seems).

I can track it as long as it's in the us, but it left NY the 13th of january. Probably is taking longer since she didnt use express or probably someone stole it, it wouldn't be the first time
You know I had a package come from America last year and it took 4 weeks to get it through customs. I was going out of my mind! Lets hope that the bag is sitting pretty in customs!
