Margaret Howell S/S 2008 : Giedre Dukauskaite & Thomas Ianson by Venetia Scott

I LOVE these. The trenches, the glasses, the rows & rows of books... Giedre looks like some brainy Brooklynite, it's so perfect. The shots remind me a bit of Diane Keaton in "Annie Hall" or just of the whole ambiance of "The Royal Tenenbaums."
Geidre is just so stunning. Thanks for the scans, unipine.:heart:

I didn't even know Margaret did campaigns, this is so pretty!.. all the atmosphere of her shows, despite the simplicity of her presentations, is translated so literally in these pictures.. I love how timeless her vision seems to be, you could pretty much take any of her garments and certainly these two pictures and place them on just about any decade of the 20th century.. especially post WWII.. that first picture in particular has written war correspondent all over it, for me.. :P:innocent:

Oh my god, mad love! Thanks everyone for posting these. How very 70s-in-a-British-library.
