^ i love those!!! shes such a beauty, its sad how celebs today try to look like her. it never works

^or just try to be her.
my favorite look of hers has to be in How to Marry a Millionaire. every scene is like fashion candy.

I just saw Norma Jean and Marilyn, the film with Ashley Judd..Was she really that stupid, sad and pathetic as they portrayed her in that film or what?

After seen documentaries and read books and articles I'm sure she wasn't like she is potrayed in that movie. I think some scenes are good but many are awful imo.

I didn't like that film at all...All we see is her being drunk and pathetic and there is so much more to her life and carrier IMO, also I don't think Mira Sovino should have played here, she doesn't look like her at all ...

i remember seeing that movie too loonaka i could barely sit through it. they just made her out to be a caricature.

That movie makes me sick, from their portrayal of Marilyn to the casting, to the awful caricature acting of Sorvino.

Marilyn had her share of issues and pain and heartache but she was in no way shape or form stupid, yes sometimes she was insecure and even pathetic, but she was an intelligent and thoughtful woman. All of the other stuff came from having a truly messed up childhood and dealing with other issues from her adult life.

She was much more layered and deep, than what they showed in the movie. In fact i am still yet to see a decent movie adaption of Monroe's life, and to be honest i am not holding my breath anymore.I dont get why no one can make a good movie about this womans life, they are all caught up with episodes from her life, like affairs with President and Bobby, or her death, so in the end it comes off loking contrived and cliche because she was so much more than just that.

I don't think this was posted, but I found this page of this site with different questions and answers about Marilyn about the specific way she dyed her hair to get that color, specific makeup she used, skin care, etc. It's kind of fun to read. I wish they had one of these for more actresses from the past.
