She's the one on the bottom with blond and longer hair. The other child is her cousin Ida Mae, 1 year younger, daughter of the brother of the mother of Marilyn.
I hope I make myself clear...

syear she seems so scared. i remember reading about this shooting, a night she couldn't sleep... her life was pretty sad actually as long as she was to clever to be Marilyn Monroe and just take it easy.it must be very hard to be marilyn monroe !

I watched 'Don't Bother To Knock' the other day, she was brilliant in the role. I always thought she was a great comedianne, but she can do serious roles, well too.

Yeah, me too. And she had WAY more personality/intrigue than over half of the actresses I've seen in modern film so far.

I don't think Marilyn was a great actress in the technical sense but her ability to project raw emotion and sensitivity was amazing. I just feel warmth when I watch her, the on-screen charisma and magnetism she possessed was something even the most skilled of actors couldn't master. The best directors of her time attested to it, even Charlie Chaplin referred to her as "the greatest female clown".

Unfortunately, it's never been en vogue to praise the ability of sex symbols noted for light comedy, even though it's often said that comedy is more challenging than drama.

I think, in general, she is underrated. The fact that she's a pop icon doesn't help either.
