i love the shoot. especially the b&w image. thanks for the scans
it seems to me that Mariya is much stronger in doing editorials than runway shows. maybe it's just me because i can't say she has enough facial features to really stand out on the catwalk (she's very typically Russian to me, so there is this 'the girl next door' effect which kind of doesn't allow me to fully appreciate her potential), but there is this vibe she can work out perfectly in the shoots. something nostalgic, soft and tender. which can be a great contradiction to the futuristic (brutal, sci-fi, etc) styling they pretty often make for her.
