From the moment she opened the Jil Sander FW 05 show (on exclusive) through to her stint in the accompanying campaign, Mariya has had NY waiting with baited breath to get her on their catwalks. And they certainly got her as she logged probably THE best booking records of any first season NY catwalker. Proenza, Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc, Narciso, Kors, Calvin, Zac Posen and Donna Karan all conscripted Mariya to their cause and she acquitted herself beautifully. Which means she gets to skim the cream of the crop in Europe in the next 3 weeks. Stay tuned!
