hmm...
i think this is like a weird mish mosh of a bunch of previous collections...
which means...i like some pieces but not really any 'looks'...
it's a bit too 'all over the place' for me...

but from a sales point of view...
bringing back some of your top sellers and just styling them in a fresh way seems like a good way to keep sales up...esp in a tough economy...
so- i get it...

i had a chance to see this in person and its so good, i mean really good. its fresh, clever and fun. the price points are lower than Marni red label but they didnt skimp on quality and texture. its selling really well because i think it is priced right for the times and its revved up the older marni energy again.

something not in my closet [yet] were a pair of nappy wool checkerboard boxer shorts...the capsule label this season seems to be all about layering different levels of texture and height, the shorts even looked good over jeans, at least in my quirky marni world.
