Lord, I am at a loss in finding words to describe the level of pretentiousness of the whole show.

One thing is clear: Marni menswear as I used to know (and buy it) exists no more, this is something else completely.

Maybe he is auditioning for Balenciaga because this a nothing to do - Even when squinting your eyes - with Marni.

It's a hideous show, plain and simple. I have warmed up to most of Risso's attempts at womenswear - even though obviously that's not what Marni was, either - but his menswear is inexcusably bad and has no point of view.

by all means, it’s not a bad show, but it completely misses the mark in context. Which is what fashion is all about. None wants to look like this anymore. It’s just so old and over.
