Francesco Risso out here not trying to lose the worst collection in Milan again ...Gotta admire his dedication to make the absolute most vile clothes possible in the last 18 months ...Feel bad for the Marni brand they used to make nice clothes not too long ago ...
Just awful, once again anything resembling clothes is not exactly appealing and the rest... Rags in unappealing autumnal shades are the order of the day at Marni and that means worst show of the season is his by right.
Seems like I am the only one of here, but I acually LOVE this. One of my favourite collections of the season so far! I love how cohesive it looks, without it all looking the same. It is exciting, colourfull and put a smile on my face. That's not something a lot of collections could say these days.
I have been on TFS for almost 14 years now, and NEVER have I seen a collection which made my skin itch and crawl, this did that. Its not only ugly the clothing looks like it has Bubonic plague, the holes look soooo gross,
Appalling and tragic. Honestly I could copy paste my reaction on his work from the previous collection.
I dislike his hand and his attitude. To me it’s so delusional and unaware. Who are you to come out in a bunny suit? Why would we listen? Why would we try to find meaning? I’m not even entertained by this silly man. He’s just destroying a really nice house which made awesome clothes to wear! I miss the luxury Marni would give us, it was special.
Looking at this collection after a while, I have to admit I changed my mind. There's something about it that I'm missing from a lot of designers nowadays. I believe its the playfulness. It looks like Risso is having fun and I love it. He doesn't restrict himself and creates what he wants. I like the textures, colors, the finishing. And there is also the wonderful makeup and amazing hairstyles. Julien is a genius.
