You should probably add some color in your lifeCollections like this just make me angry. I can't explain it, but it really does.
Probably. And maybe I cling on to what Marni once was and comparing it too strongly to what it is now. But if this is colour, it's very dour in presentation. You should probably add some color in your life
The knitwear is really great at Marni and truth to be told, Rosso didn’t went crazy on the prices with Marni like he did with Margiela. You can get a RTW piece at a decent price.Im still shocked to see it worn so much. It apparently really connects to an audience.
The work on the stripes and scarfs feels nice. But the proportions and overal atmosphere feel extremely redundant. It has an air of unappealing pretentiousness that feels outdated. Wish he’d just give us f-ing Marni.
Wasn't that done as part of Margiela's "luxury repositioning strategy". That said, OTB seems quite diverse in terms of price range:The knitwear is really great at Marni and truth to be told, Rosso didn’t went crazy on the prices with Marni like he did with Margiela. Which doesn’t make sense because out of all the brands in OTB portfolio, Marni is the actual « luxury brand ». Historically a fur and leather goods company…That has always been priced fairly.Wasn't that done as part of Margiela's "luxury repositioning strategy". That said, OTB seems quite diverse in terms of price range:
- Jil Sander and Margiela are the more traditional "upper luxury" brands
- Marni is the "lower luxury" brand with the younger aesthetic
- Diesel is cool, trendy brand in the contemporary space
So, like Fendi? Well, that changes my whole perception...Which doesn’t make sense because out of all the brands in OTB portfolio, Marni is the actual « luxury brand ». Historically a fur and leather goods company…That has always been priced fairly.
