Marshalls

I don't like stores that are massively disorganized. I can never find anything worth buying and it gives me a headache just to look.

I've been there before because being in a shopping arcade without other interesting stores one becomes curious.

I found Helmut Lang, Paul Smith, and Gianfranco Ferre. Also Moschino Jeans, and Versace by Rosenthal.

what??!?!?! the ones i've been in stock fake Seven jeans (yes, beware), Ralph Lauren, Rocawear and some Max Studio.

I found a pair of Miss Sixty, real Seven jeans, and a D&G top when i looked one time...

I went off with the miss sixty jeans.

i got two pairs of levi's premium pants there for really cheap

Yes, I think it all depends where you live. Marshalls gets their clothing from department stores such as Barneys, saks, macys, etc... if you live near a high end store you will sometimes find high end stuff at marshalls, if you live in a rural areas you are bound to only find polo, nautica, etc. at Marshalls. I've bought some awesome stuff at their Boston store, Bruno Maglis for $100, Michael Kors, Burberry, Gucci, and Fendi sunglasses, A few john varvatos sweaters for 25 dollars, diesel jeans for 30, Emprio Armani suit for 200...i can go on and on...I love that store

if you visit often and have a lot of patience you can find some really good stuff.

I am not patient enough to look through the disorganization, but I often find some cute Theory and Laundry items for cheap.

My Marshals sucks there is never anything good there.

I'm more of a fan of Ross for clothes and TJ Maxx has a great selection on handbags.

*bump*

anyone shop here, share your purchases if you got anything good

I've been able to find a lot there over the years and their shoe section usually has a decent selection...

^ I like their purses, ChrissyM.

Every once in a while they have some good cheap basics from Express or the Limited... even got some Editor pants for $17... :innocent:

sometimes Marshall's has some nice things. It just depends on the area and what they get from the other stores. their quality stock is fickle.

I think I got some Editor pants there too for really cheap! It was a while ago so I don't remember how much.... but I know I got a pair of the knee-length shorts Editor for like $5 or $7 or something like that

I've definitely gotten a lot of fun bags/purses there over the years too...

I agree! There's a ton of good stuff that pops up every once in a while. I try to go every week or so. :D I see BCBG, Max Studio, Juicy, Earnest Sewn, Paper Denim, AG jeans, Theory, Generra, Coach,...

my friend and I found a pair of black skinny jeans from zara once but they were too big :( we are going to try another marshalls :D

I'm so jealous of all of you who live near the nice Marshall's! Mine only has stuff from Express, DKNY, etc.

I was in Marshalls today returning something and as I was browsing through the store really quickly I saw that this Matthew Williamson dress was on sale for about $365...

I remember seeing it there a couple months ago.. but unfortunately it's a size too big for me... surprised that no one has snapped it up yet...

When I tried it on it was surprizingly heavy.. all the chain detail I guess..

pics from firstview

** the dress I saw was a more rosy/salmon color.. prettier and less see-through than this

I've had some good Marshall's buys recently so I'll post pics as soon as I take them and upload them to my new comp ;)

I went back and bought the dress today :ninja:...
when I cinched the waist it actually fit pretty well.. ^_^

It was actually $325 and then 20% off because I used my aunt's associate card to get a discount.. I'll try to post my own pic soon...

my sisters aren't too keen on it because they think it looks a bit disco/ice skater but i like it so we'll see whether i keep it or not...
