His work seems to be getting more and more refined as the seasons pass. Especially since Diesel. Not sure if it that's a good thing as I personally,adored his irreverence before. Still,some nice stuff here.

Last one..this was really quite a small collection from Margiela this season.

I don't really care for this. I think Margiela's best days are behind him.

fall has some amazing pieces...

it's been hard for everyone to live up to the high standards set by fall 04/05
this fall is really an exceptional season for many designers...including mmm

I quite like it, it's much much less deconstructed tahn what i usually think of Margiela doing. But I like it.

M-o-M...trust me,if you don't like all this you certainly won't like much of the rest. Mostly just slinky evening-style dresses. And very simple at that.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. I'm not used to seeing this kind of work from him. I miss his more experimental way of designing. These clothes seem a bit more...dare I say....generic??

she had 'dissapeared' from paris few seasons ago
MMM had a small 'tribute' to her on their recently edited A Magazine
i bet she got all emotional and got in touch with them,
just because of the little 'tribute' they've made
it was real sweet

I remember her from the days when he was doing all that recycled stuff and the "package" collection with the tape-around shoes.

The only Margiela clothes I've come into contact with in person were completely hit miss on the cut. Like Yohji - I admire the theory somtimes but the goods are a bit dodgy...

It's supposed to be for professionals only, blah,blah, but I'm not sure if they actually check anything. Scott or M-O-M would now.


I feel the same way about Margiela, Scott (but you know that). And I'm glad many others on here do.
