i think matthew williamson should go back to showing in london where he's more highly regarded...he's a minor celeb over there...but he's just lost in the shuffle over here...

I wonder if that's why Cloak showed again in NYC? There were no photos taken of them in Paris that I've seen, and I wonder if it's because they're not as well known there like Williamson isn't here?

I have liked bits and pieces from Matthew Williamson but this is the collection that I found the most things that I like:

This is a winning look.

I often dress in sleeveless tops and trousers (but not in this weater, of course ) so this spoke to me. I prefer tops that are a lot less elaborate (no satin inserts) and the trousers should be a darker gunmental gray or charcoal.

I don't dress like that but those dresses are fun. Just make sure that he doesn't send them to celebs who could look tarty in those.

And finally, those are so Missoni.

I'm not keen, but it just looks to me like he's tried to move on - you can't do the same boho /hippy look season in, season out, it's starting to look very tired (I for one am getting very bored of boho), especially seeing as its in every chainstore in London.

It looks to me like he's struggling to decide what direction to go in next, to move things on without losing his house style. I doubt he cut his prices, it looks like a lot of silk to me, but I agree it looks a bit cheap.

I wonder whether Sienna will have a simliar quandry of where to go next?

not bad from the nyc stuff I've seen worse. I personally wouldn't wear any of it and I've seen better Williamson collections but it's not the worst thing I've ever seen.

i am a big fan... i actually loved the colours he used for winter. and he introduced a new style top which is unlikely for him...

I'm really not liking this collection. The colors are so drab for the most part and the patterns are just too busy. Some of the pieces would look nice by themselves paired with very clean lined black slacks. I do like what Isabeli is wearing. Any of those pieces would look great individually.

^i so agree. i just bought a nice top from this fall collection, i couldn't resist even though the price tag wasn't really inviting......i'm already wearing it now but it's really suited for fall/winter as well.
