Max Mara S/S 2018 : Cara Taylor by Steven Meisel | the Fashion Spot

Max Mara S/S 2018 : Cara Taylor by Steven Meisel

I would have never taken Cara as a Meisel girl, but this shot is fantastic! Meisel has created a very distinct style for Max Mara. It looks accessible and expensive at the same time. It works!

Perfect! But Carine, nobody wants to wear MAXMARA logoed pieces...

Expected, but I love it! Happy for Cara. Can't wait to see more.

I don't know why Meisel and Carine work so well for Max Mara, turning the simple into the solid. This is just beautiful. Much like the Faretta campaign. The models are of course young but the final execution is distinctly aimed at the mature woman. Love it!

I also sometimes get confused with Cara, Kris, and there's another one....Caitie Greene.

Yes! Happy for Cara and this looks nice.

So classic and it works so well! Cara looks amazing here. You can always rely on MaxMara to produce a good print campaign :)

As much as I loved Grace Elizabeth for Max Mara last season, I do love how the brand switches up the faces of their mainline advertising campaigns. Must admit that I'm not a Cara Taylor fan but I do love how effortless, chic and rather 90s the image of her here is. You can just always rely on Steven Meisel!

That pic is so pretty. Max Mara is on a roll with their campaigns.

Yes :D!! Just as I had hoped/envisioned.

Cara is the best of the next gen girls for me, despite her youth. I do wish that Pat had vamped up the make-up a bit here but I dig the softer, dulcet tones of the image.

Max Mara is one of the only campaigns I look forward to now season after season, a big yes to the Godsel and Carine combo, at least here.

They don't change much because what they got is working, and yet again, a success. Happy for Cara.

I think Cara works really well as a Meisel's girl, in fact, even if I wouldn't have imagined her as a Max Mara woman, I find the shot perfect.

Cara is such a versatile model. That's why everything she does, works. She just knows how to model and she's a natural.
Can't wait to see more shots.

i absolutely love this. it's not overambitious and works just 100%.

now i wish prada would go this way, this subtle way, too. -_-

Meisel photographs anybody these days.

What do you mean? He's worked with Cara many times before...

I love this concept. It always looks amazing, whether it's with Odette, Faretta, Grace or Cara.
