garb to carry a Sgian Dubh, Even then it's a big cost for the legal right to carry a small knife. Frankly I think I'd rather go unarmed.

There is a section in UK law which allows people in traditional dress to carry a fixed blade knife, otherwise one is only allowed a <=3 inch non locking pocket knife. Many American men (including me-my father and grand father) are quite attached to their pocket knives.

Just saw a guy in a Utilikilt last night. If I were a guy, I'd buy one. The pockets unsnap to allow your stuff to be screened easily in airport xrays. it was very cool.

^As long as the shorts aren't visible, you're good, but I'd skip them. And I would think "coverage" would be a good piece of criteria for undergarments.

After a couple of years of temptation, I finally decided to take this plunge. I found a great looking, almost full length cotton/ramie Ys skirt on sale today. It'll be about 2 weeks before the alts are done (a touch taken in at the waist), but it works. Incredibly comfortable and can be paired with most anything I normally wear.

It is comparable to this in terms of draping and length-
