Yup, but if the thread is any indication, people are obsessed about them.ChadR said:APC sizing is absoutly crazy. Go to http://www.superfuture.com/city/supertalk/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=1768&start=1 and read that thread. It should clear it up for you.

Thanks
Oof, Oz! That's a long way to travel. Hope it works out without much issue.enak said:Thanks all for the information.
OMG! I can't believe how unreliable the APC sizing is across the board, but I think I'll take a gamble and get the tight jeans in a 32", shipping is so expensive to Australia![]()

mode_addict said:i have had my new standard apc jeans for about 2 years now. i like new standard bc it's not a high high rise and it's not a low rise and it makes everyone have a booty like beyonce. i wear them about 4 days out of the week and i have never washed them... ever. they look awesome though! i have a waist of 30 and i bought a size 28. if you were to get the hipsters, you might need to even go smaller. the standards are confusing. for the first week, the jeans will be extremely tight, it'll make fat that you don't even have bulge but after a week or two it's all gravy from there. they fit to me like no other jean. i would suggest not hemming them too, they look better bunched up around your shoes or just cuff them up.
I've heard that these would be somewhat of a replacement for HL jeans, and furthur reading on superfuture forums (all 7 pages!!!) on the APC jeans, it seems like only the tight jeans are true to size
. hmmmmmmm, actually, theres a store in melbourne that stocks it, I might give them a ring. Thanks for the info. Yep, I like having my jeans bunched around my ankles, I dont really have a choice since my legs are so short
but I like the fact that the tight jeans are tapered down to the ankles or so i've read.
Thanks mode addict - I have a 30 waist and a shorter torso, having an Asian bodytype; I feel the hipster style better fits my frame and I had to get a 27. I felt like such a pig because the waist was so damn tight, but now, it's eased up. I'm still having problems with the hems being too long, and am tempted to lop off an inch or two, and still have them bunch up somewhat. But it's nice to know people like you have an opinion about how the legs should be worn. I've seen older APC jeans that look much better at the hems once the legs relax more (I'm 5'7" and I've only had these hipsters for a month) so maybe I'll wait a bit more before attempting to hem them.mode_addict said:i have had my new standard apc jeans for about 2 years now. i like new standard bc it's not a high high rise and it's not a low rise and it makes everyone have a booty like beyonce. i wear them about 4 days out of the week and i have never washed them... ever. they look awesome though! i have a waist of 30 and i bought a size 28. if you were to get the hipsters, you might need to even go smaller. the standards are confusing. for the first week, the jeans will be extremely tight, it'll make fat that you don't even have bulge but after a week or two it's all gravy from there. they fit to me like no other jean. i would suggest not hemming them too, they look better bunched up around your shoes or just cuff them up.
