Men's Denim

Is there anywhere online that I can buy the APC, Helmut Langs, DH or Jil Sanders raw denim. Theres nowhere locally that sells any of this and the place that had the Helmut Langs sold out of my size :(

You can phone order/order online from APC. Helmut langs are all over ebay and really good prices. I'm not sure about jil sanders though.

Ye, I tried ebay for the HL's, but lost the auction, now I'm waiting for my size to pop up again :(

Thanks for the APC link.

Oh, just before I do something stupid, how is the sizing of APC jeans? I'm about a 30 in the HL raw denims.

Thanks

^ well it looks as if you got the pictures off of urban outfitters, so why not try urban outfitters!?!?!? but you can always get them at diesel stores.

Yup, but if the thread is any indication, people are obsessed about them.

My god, I can't believe people actually photo log the wear of their jeans. That's a bit obsessive but cool at the same time. I think I'm going to do that! That pic of the worn APCs for 7 years is pretty awesome.

Sorry, but some friendly advice - those are awful. Try maybe a darker pair. Or something not by Diesel. Or both, ideally.

Thanks all for the information.

OMG! I can't believe how unreliable the APC sizing is across the board, but I think I'll take a gamble and get the tight jeans in a 32", shipping is so expensive to Australia :(

Oof, Oz! That's a long way to travel. Hope it works out without much issue.

i have had my new standard apc jeans for about 2 years now. i like new standard bc it's not a high high rise and it's not a low rise and it makes everyone have a booty like beyonce. i wear them about 4 days out of the week and i have never washed them... ever. they look awesome though! i have a waist of 30 and i bought a size 28. if you were to get the hipsters, you might need to even go smaller. the standards are confusing. for the first week, the jeans will be extremely tight, it'll make fat that you don't even have bulge but after a week or two it's all gravy from there. they fit to me like no other jean. i would suggest not hemming them too, they look better bunched up around your shoes or just cuff them up.

I wore my first pair of blue bloods for 6 months, every day, never washed them...

Went out, bought another pair..and have worn them nearly every day for the past 9 months...

Both still in perfect condition.

Gives you an indication about the quality of the London Made label.

They can be found in the flannels group stores...

hmm, ye, the standards are no good for me 'cause ive been looking for AGES! for a pair of raw denim jeans. I found a pair of Helmut Langs, but by the time I got back they sold out :( I've heard that these would be somewhat of a replacement for HL jeans, and furthur reading on superfuture forums (all 7 pages!!!) on the APC jeans, it seems like only the tight jeans are true to size :o. hmmmmmmm, actually, theres a store in melbourne that stocks it, I might give them a ring. Thanks for the info. Yep, I like having my jeans bunched around my ankles, I dont really have a choice since my legs are so short :D but I like the fact that the tight jeans are tapered down to the ankles or so i've read.

I just wish I could try these on first

Thanks mode addict - I have a 30 waist and a shorter torso, having an Asian bodytype; I feel the hipster style better fits my frame and I had to get a 27. I felt like such a pig because the waist was so damn tight, but now, it's eased up. I'm still having problems with the hems being too long, and am tempted to lop off an inch or two, and still have them bunch up somewhat. But it's nice to know people like you have an opinion about how the legs should be worn. I've seen older APC jeans that look much better at the hems once the legs relax more (I'm 5'7" and I've only had these hipsters for a month) so maybe I'll wait a bit more before attempting to hem them.

Seriously, though, I love my APCs even more now that I know there's a whole community around them (that thread link in an earlier post was insane! And here I thought I was obsessed about my interests.)! Although jhaime, I just called Blueblood's rep here in NYC (two blocks away from me - I wish I could just go to their showroom), and I should check out the jeans at Atrium & Bloomies tomorrow. I have my doubts though - I like my jeans to be less designed, so i don't know if that lobster logo or any other details will suit me as much as the non-descript APCs. I love that the only visible logo on an APC is the removable pin.

They don't put Logo's on the jeans...:S

It's a distressed jean...

Although they do have dry resin jean, It's far more expensive mind, But certainly worth it.

They're a more dressy jean, can wear them with a nice pair of Jeffery West shoes ;)
