Men's Denim

However, you cannot question the points I raised. There are very few websites designed for labels that I have looked all the way through.

EDIT* OFF TOPIC

However with Blueblood, you get to see every detail behind the label itself.

EDIT* OFF TOPIC

And I said above that I do like what I've seen of their jeans. Hating a website does not equate to hating a company.

I'm only buying Dior Homme jeans from now on. They're perfect.

Jeez...I was hoping the four pages of this thread would be about men's jeans, not website design. Although a thread on fashion website design would be cool...

Pleeeeeease stick to the topic. :flower:

To get it back on topic....

I don't know what to do now- I have three pairs of denim that I wear-
1. JP Da'Mage bootcut- gorgous denim, very comforatable, casual
2. Rock & Republic straightleg- nice fit, nice wash, great basic jean
3. A.P.C. Rescue straightleg- unwashed, dark, gonna get dirty

So here's the predicament (and it's tripartite)- I don't need more jeans, but that has never stopped me before; what else should I get? I have a "fuller" body, so dior and hl are out.
Second problem- I rock my NB 991's religiously, but they aren't working with my cuffed APC Selvege (don't like my Rod Larver's either-not a chuck's fan, may try these vans though
chukka_premium.jpg
). What are some decent shoes to wear with cuffed jeans?
Thirdly- I lied actually, i just wanted to say tripartite.

I think i'll buy some Dior Homme by phone order from a boutique or from E-bay.

Btw, has anyone seen the Helmut Lang jeans on Bluefly? What do you think? Good..bad..worth it..not worth it? Thx :flower:

Whoever posted the Diesel jeans - the quality of Diesel jeans is literally crap. Spend your money on better looking, better quality jeans from A.P.C. :flower:

I totally agree...

Diesel are like, £135 here and they are literally awful!!!

I had a look at Da'Mage, they remind me of a terrible deisel replica of some kind...:P

Oof! Now THAT was a seriously considered site! I don't even want the jeans, but damn! it was so sexy and loaded so fast and told me all I wanted to know in less than a minute, PLUS made me want to emulate what they were showing! To be honest, I think that Blueblood probably has a better product, but the Da'Mage really harnessed the power of medium for me. I feel compelled to seek out their product now, even if the inital view of the product itself didn't seem to do it for me, but I got such a positive, visceral response to their marketing tactics. And their Flash usage was good! Thanks, ChadR!

I thought it was awful...

You coudn't even see the actual jean untill you clicked on the image to blow it up on the screen...far to dark aswell...

Do it! You won't regret it if they're right for your bodytype. (Kinda stating the obvious, isn't it?)

I like a good number of pairs, but the prices kind of suck. That's what I hate about Bluefly; their discounts are nearly pointless sometimes, especially when compared with those of YOOX, who has/had a lot of the same jeans for half the price if I remember correctly. But if that doesn't bother you, post some specific pairs up in "Yay or Nay?"

My body type...let's just say I'm not the perfect Dior Homme guy, I'd fit pretty well in a 32, i guess..

Btw, I know it's major TFS taboo to post something from ebay, so sorry. However, Japanese made waxed jeans from E-bay are up.

Perfect - apples and oranges then. I have no problem with disagreeing with you completely.

/\ Perfection

^Yeah, those are seriously great jeans. I'd love a pair. If I ever stumble upon a size 28...

The JP Da'Mage jeans are really well made. The denim is very high quality, fit is lovely, and its prety rare to see anyone else with them on. Denim is 12.5oz, and its ringring, 3into1- not just your basic jeans.

Baklanyc- I thought you were being bitingly sarcastic! I do like the site though; it is alittle sexual, but oh well.

Nope, was serious. :) For what it is (And sex sells, and they sell it well, in that overt, bordering-on-cheesy-but-not-quite way ;)), it's well done, and it gets the job done. I don't necessarily want the jeans, but it told me enough and showed me enough and told me exactly where I can get the jeans, and it made me think about trying their product. I'd rather see a brand/site try for a more mass appeal and succeed than attempt a higher road yet fall short. But that's me. :flower:

Could someone please tell me what is "selvage":-) Thanks.
