he's an american football player - the ny giants quarterback and helped them win the super bowl this year.

What happened to his face? I thought the football helmets had guards to prevent any damage to it. Or is the scan, possibly? Weird photoshop job? I can only hope.

ROFL
Poor Eli! He just looks like that naturally...

When I saw it on the newsstand I actually said "Eli Manning...in...Vogue"
It just didn't compute.

Men's Vogue needs to start doing editorials already!

um, I don't watch football, but he definitely looks kind of hot on the cover. Love the old school Mad Men vibe.

who? and whats the possibility of a male model being on the cover of men's Vogue?

^not a possibility at this point. at this point their covers have been limited to very high profile men - either actors, politicians or athletes.

What a shame, I would buy it if a male model was on the cover, but I guess not at this point. thanks!

it looks american psycho-esque...and not in a christian bale way...

Not only is Mens short for a woman's period in my native tongue (Swedish), but his hair is so large that it obscures the N, making it look like Vogue Mess.

:woot: Oh Meg now you have given me idea's, they need to put my man Jon Hamm on the cover, now!

He definitely has a manly presence that I like but...something about his face just seems off for me, I can't explain it. And in the second shot he looks like he smells something awful.

I'm really disappointed at the way Men's Vogue has insisted on being more a lifestyle than a fashion mag hence the lack of male models on the cover. They need a subject they can fly to to conduct some flighty interview . Definitely no competition for GQ. I'm not even sure, honestly, who Men's Vogue is trying to appeal to.

Agree. Drooling over this makes me fell like I'm cheating on his brother.
