Menswear Catwalk Trends S/S 08

I agree...I think the neon colors will look best as accents to a neutral outfit (gray, black etc) like a scarf, socks, pocket square etc in neon.

this is in reference to the one shoulder shirts:

that is actually not stylish at all for men, but it would look nice on a women. also, i understand that most guys are metrosexuals these days for taking better care of their look, but isnt this over doing it?

the skater in me will NEVER be seen with such cropped pants.

the prep in me won't mind when he's going for walk in the water (lake, sea, river), while stylishly holding a pair of loafers/boatshoes in his hand.

meanwhile, the practical me thinks it'd be stupid not to roll up the pants occasionally when he's caught in rainy weather wearing flip flops.

conflict of multiple personalities :ninja:

Ive always loved when guys roll up thier jeans a bit. Its more bike messenger looking though.

Id be curious to see if with dress pants, khakis or chinos though.

personally, i'm more of a winter person, and i'm loving the winter-esque work-through in the spring/summer trends.

the sheer threads are also very chic and good looking if worn correctly with the proper attire/layers.

and i'm not one to be usually fond of neon colours (i'm a neutral colours kind of guy--blacks, greys, whites, tans), but i like the idea of having them being used as colour accents to my current wardrobe!

the pink, however, needs to go. it's come and gone in past seasons, i don't see why they're bothering to bring that back! >:P

and i still don't care too much for the cropped pants...even if its hitting in waves here in southern california

It will take a certain kind of man. And I mean that in every sense applicable.

No. Unless you want to look like a dad who's trying too hard.
I love the outfit...the model- not too much!

The trench jacket has such a nice contrast with the dark leather patch and the rolled up jeans are so trendy!

Love the green socks too!

now where to find that jacket??!!

Mmm, neon colors have already kind of come back for all those American apparel nu-rave kids, but I think it's coming back in a way that can be included in a more sophisticated wardrobe. Same with the really shiny stuff.

cropped pants.. uhh that kind of pants remind me the flood disaster in my city.. hihi.. funny it's a trend now

do you have to be seven feet tall in order for croped/rolled pants to not make you look like a midget?
or am i doing something else alll wrong?

i don't think so.. i think it's more about proportions.

you may not be doing anything wrong matay.it does help if you're taller to pull of the cropped look.

just like the dropped crotch does not look fresh on shorter guys. makes them look like penguins.

i'm not THAT short.....(i hope)...
i'm sure one day i'll figure it out.
