I am sorry but I can't stand these things anymore. Like, I don't understand them. Some are funny, but really, do you always want people laughing at what you are wearing? Britney Spears is amazing with these, I think she has bought every one known to man...they include:
-"I'm a virgin...but this is an old shirt"
-"Brunettes have more fun" (she wore it while she was both brunette AND blonde, oh tricky tricky britney!)
-"I'm the American dream." (nice of you to point it out...)
-"MILF in training" (that is vulgar, that one isn't even funny...her poor "daughter")

and then there is Paris Hilton's new:
-"That's Hot...You're Not." (it's even spelled wrong on the shirt itself...spelled, Thats Hot...Your Not, nice.)

and Lindsay Lohan's:
-"Skinny b*tch." (very attractive, every boy wants a skinny b*tch)

and those two have:
-"Hilton/Lohan 2004" that they are actually selling at Kitson and other places and people are ACTUALLY buying.

I know that people wear these to be funny but after a while it's just like, wow...give it up. sorry if you dont agree but it was driving me insane!

Well it all depends on the message and who's wearing it.

Ex: a blond Paris Hilton look alike with a "punk girl" tee will just be :yuk: .

true..

yesterday while shopping a girl walked past me and she was wearing a "Sexier Than You" shirt and she was...not sexy...

i think that these tees are just setting you up for failure.

I dunno, its fun to make fun of other people.

I mean, they're just asking for it!

I actually saw the Virgin one the other day.
 Slightly pathetic to want to advertise that...

I personnally prefer printed tees that are less messag-y takcy like these (all Urban Outfitters) or tees with funny msg or with some bands' name:

Yeah, I am SOOOO sick of the "Princess" shirts that have been around forever and no one wears anymore! I'll be going through the Junior section, and I'll see a shirt that looks cute but when I look at the front and see "Hot stuff" written on it....arrrgh....all I want is a plain shirt for cryin out loud!

Agreed with Kimkhuu.

I really love the Rogan tees.. "This too shall pass" and "Produce".

My mushycat "Vegetarians taste better" hot pink tee is on its way in the mail.. just because I want to be a sl*t for a day

Rogan "Produce"
"What are you in for?" horse tee

the cheap & ugly message tee craze is so over.

the february bazaar has a brilliant knock on paris hilton. they show her 'dont be jealous' tee and say 'message tees are out- We're NOT jealous paris!!'

the only tee shirts I buy are from 1985 or older- only vintage.

rebuke the message tee by ONLY buying vintage.

Hmm. I purchased a message tee of sorts the other day.

Take that, Hasselhoff. KITT lives!

hahaha i like the robot car tee, creative and obscure, and hasselhoff does suck. but yes, message tees are PLAYED OUT. please, if you get a "My boyfriend is cuter than yours" or "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful" tee-shirt, then automatically YOU are a fashion JOKE! Tacky, tacky, gag...

Thank you for posting this! I hate tees with "labels" or "personal messages" on them. It's like saying "If you want to get to know me, just read my shirt!"

HAHA! They should make THAT (what I just said) on a shirt. I bet someone would too!
