I just read that she won the first Heath Ledger scholarship for up-and-coming Australian actors. Does anyone know what the criteria for the scholarship is? While I think she is a wonderful choice, I don't think she is exactly a struggling actress. No doubt her paycheck for 'Alice in Wonderland' is quite generous. But I am aware that there are a lot of non-fiscal worries for young actors, like securing managment, overseas visas etc., so maybe it has something to do with that.
