i just gotta say she is impeccable. i was just in the kate middleton thread and came here and i was impressed.

I think it's because Michelle Obama has a strong sense of self. She is very self confident, she loves to experiment and she loves fashion. She never tries to be "fashionable" but she knows how to dress her age/appropriately without never being dull or boring. She also knows how to mix high fashion with more "street" one. I love how she plays with texture, shapes and above all colours. She may have some miss but at least she tries She is an incredible source of inspiration.

Middleton is not into fashion and since she ditched the mini skirts she has been dressing in a very boring way.. But I think she believes it's the way a proper princess should dress while when you look at Mrs O's outfits, it's never what you expect a FLOTUS to wear but it screams her.

Hum I think at least one picture of every event was posted here But there are 2 pictures in the set you posted which are new!

^Oh, really? I got the impression that these pictures were new and I looked a few pages back and found nothing. She is always photographed wearing a lot of great dresses, so I guess it really is hard to catch up with her.

Anyway, to make this thread a little more active, is there any designer that Michelle hasn't worn yet that you would like to see her wear? Has she ever worn Chanel before?

Indeed FLOTUS sure loves her dresses !
Some of the pictures you posted came from the South America tour and we have loads of them (2 or 3 pages ago) but there were in tumbnails. No biggie it's always great to see FLOTUS

I don't know if we can post videos but here is a new outfit she wore this week and another video which shows the dress she wore at the baby shower without the cardigan

The Obamas visited the Orbital Processing Facility at Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida yesterday. For the occasion, Mrs. O wore a tented tie back top with slim navy pants and olive flats. Casual and chic!
