Michelle Williams

She is just so wonderful. I adore her interviews, they always just make me love her even more. She truly is one of the greatest actresses of our time.

This interview is why she's one of my fave actresses.
Ditto. I think she is one of those actresses that people will still talk about in many many decades to come. Great actress with great portfolio who knows how to talk about her job, her roles and her life without ever making us sick of hearing it. I feel like she is a true fire through her work and then when she is promoting, she just does her work, she is at peace and very mature. As if she knew who she was and had really nothing to prove to anyone. She doesn't try to be funny or likeable in her interviews. She never overdo it but it falls into pieces nonetheless. She reminds ne a bit of the Angelina Jolie of now. Very calm, very in control but also very invested in her work - when she does work :) those interviews were great. Thank you!

Thanks for the video :flower: I always lover her interviews, I always want to give her a MASSIVE hug

That's exactly what I thought! It seems patronising to call her cute or sweet (though she is) because she's so fiercely dedicated and passionate to her work as well as being an intelligent and inspiring woman.

Thanks Lola for that interview:) She was so sweet and came off very well. She's a real gem.

yes i agree! in the time of people who wanna be famous and do anything for it, it is refreshing that there are people like michelle who have actually done a good movies and who is a good actress.
and after seeing all those clips of her being marilyn i really think she was the right choice!
no one could have done that better.

(sorry my post do not make any sense, it is way too early now and it feels like my brains are stuck )

I definitely love her short, pixie cut - she is my biggest hair inspiration (though I am not blonde)!

^ I agree that her pixie cut looks great but it does depend on how she styles it and her make up she wears with it. The platinum blonde quiff and black eyebrows was a bit of a low point in my opinon.

I saw My Week with Marilyn last night. Wow. Wow wow wow. She was amazing! At the beginning of the film I was pretty skeptical about her authenticity as Marilyn, but about twenty minutes in I was sure she was the most perfect person to play her. She looks great as her too, her hair is great like that! I would definitely recommend for anyone to go and see it. Great humour, too :flower:
Anyone know how the reviews have been?

^The reviews have been outstanding. It's got an 83% on Rotten Tomatoes.
The only fault critics are finding with it pertains to the film as the whole, but all the performances (especially Michelle's) are getting rave reviews. :)

^Yay, they deserve it. Eddie was also brilliant in it, and this film really puts Emma's acting in a good light too. The film made me actually like Michelle, because before I was pretty much indifferent. Excited for future roles now!

I saw the movie today!
What a major job Michelle did. She is outstanding and she portrayed the fragile, unhappy and insecure Marilyn as few could do! I felt completely related to it.
She definitely deserves an oscar nomination and why not winning it (didn't see other performances yet). About the movie, not so excited about it as Michelle's performance.

Michelle won another award today from the BSFC (Boston Society of Film Critics) for My Week with Marilyn, of course.

Congrats to her!! I want to see that movie so bad!! Such a shame I don't know when is it going to be released here :(

The film is good overall, but Michelle is amazing and worthy of the price of admission on her own. She is just lovely, and human, and believable.
