this campaign reminds me of vogue italy cover. steven works are pervaded by nostalgia for a past age.

While this is great in theory, I find the execution really odd.

What I liked with Mert&Marcus and Camilla Akrans is they shot on location. The lightning here screams STUDIO LIGHTS - its so fake its killing my eyes. And that sand isn't really that convincing either.

Whilst I love Steven Meisel; I'd prefer to see Mert&Marcus make a comeback for Missoni. They had iconic campaigns. I will never forget those Gisele and Kate campaigns!

very reasonable point. because of the fake flat sand this somehow reminds me of Anja's eating galore editorial for T NY Times Style Magazine.
