I think this bag is divine. Personally, I love the black leather version. However, I wish they hadn't dolled it out to all those celebs though as without this "It" bag status it could have endure for longer. I am not into seasonal bags. I still love it though but am also slightly off-put by the scratchability of the ultra soft leather.

She saw at MLC, I saw them as well the brown suede is gorgeous .

^^ I just went to MLC and saw the black one. It was being brought back from a photo-shoot for a magazine, the article being some "what's in the celebrity's wardrobe?" type of thing (although the celebrity is actually borrowing the items for the photo-shoot! ) Anyway, I liked the look of the black one. It's very plush-looking and it hangs nicely on that long strap. The strap is VERY long.

I don't think I'll be rushing out to buy one of these bags though.

There was a suede one on lay-by that I only could take a peek at. It looked nice, but I'm just so paranoid about carrying a suede bag -- disaster waiting to happen.

I'm sure this statement will be against the grain of everyone else's opinion, but I don't think this bag suits being worn messenger-style. The long strap seems too thin and long for a big wide plush bag. It has the potential of making one's bum look larger than it actually is.

I think the extra long strap is just for style, which is a look that I adore. My tote has a strap, I never use it as a shoulder bag, but I always leave it on and let it hang, just for the look.

ever since that photo of S. Miller was carrying the white one, i have been thinking about this bag.
I agree with a lot of you in that it looks so rich and vintage in the suede. Does it only come in brown? I really am not a "brown girl" I never wear anything brown. Do you think it will go with a lot?
I totally agree with the statement aoubt if it came in a blue!!! or burgandy suede!!!! oh I wish.
I'm wondering if I should still get it in the brown or just pass on the bag.

you know, amp88, i've had this bag for about 2 weeks now and i agree with you. i've tried wearing it messenger style and it just feels kinda weird. i do sometimes use the shoulder strap but i'm pretty tall (5'8") so it doesn't look horribly long on me. but for the most part i just use the braided shoulder strap.

Decided to check out this thread for the first time, and I actually dont really love the bag. I like the ruching but something about the shape and hardware. I'm glad I dont like it, I have enough bags I want as is! I agree with what was said earlier though, miu miu is hardly a diffusion line anymore with their 2.5k dresses.

I much prefer the new Prada ruched bags to these Miu Miu coffer bags. I think the coffer is overpriced for what it is. For that price I would much rather pay a couple of hundred more and buy one of the new Ruched Prada bags.

This bag isn't that hot (as in popular), it's really hot though...

jun the suede on the coffer is kinda a bit distressed in places anyhow, I think it's the sort of bag where if it were to have some rub-off areas, it would look on purpose....hope that makes sense
