Miu Miu F/W 2025.26 Paris

A doctor Qin inspired collection.:ninjas: The casting was not good.
The highlight for me was seeing Rila and Xiaowen on the runway...

You mean a Miuccia collection?
For me the mood and proposal has changed of what they've been building the last few years, bridging a bit closer to old Miu Miu.
The tailoring and make-up is quite dated, then again it has that Oliver twist and 50's feeling. It's not that I thought every collection recently has been strong, but this feels least 'fresh' from their new era?

Amelia Gray didn’t need to be doing all that with her walk…

I didn’t like this. At all. Something about it is so insipid, and the collection looks as if it is cosplaying as old Prada. Like a daughter dressing up as their mum who is going through a severe midlife crisis.

Also, was this styled by Lotta again? Something about this screams Katie Grand.

Some of these colours are very Katie. I hate this collection; without Fabio, Miuccia is lost. With Prada, at least Raf is taking all the blame. Miuccia is killing her own legacy. I honestly wonder if she was ever any good?

Feels like a watered down Miu Miu F/W 2011 collection with bits of Prada S/S 2020 thrown in the mix.

Sadly another underwhelming collection, haven’t really been excited about Miu Miu since their S/S 2024 collection.

But of course people will still eat this up!

It is a beautiful Miu Miu collection. I love many of the pieces/looks, color palette, styling, hair/makeup, and model casting. Bravo!

It’s much less exciting than previous Miu Miu collections but I will watch it again and see the details photos

A fairly strong collection, although mostly style over substance. It's got her signature Hitchcockian femme and eerie color palette. But it's almost entirely down to the styling - which she's a master at, of course - because the individual pieces are mostly run-of-the-mill.

I like this take (even though I don't wholeheartedly agree with it) because it kind of points to the origin of Miu Miu and the way it was perceived before they decided to make it more separate and moved the show to Paris: Prada's rather impulsive younger sister who takes her 'serious' ideas and turns them into something more frivolous and fun.

i enjoyed it the dissection of dressing being a young or older woman, from old concept of 50´s etc mixed with other era´s the casting was well done all the different dolls ....hate the hats!!!! but enjoyed many parts and the repetition with twists and minimal styling and design but still make something strong out of it or at least trying

i like the oddness of it very miu miu ...i like all the sexy girls into miu Miu will have to deal with this :-) its a smart move to make newer clients grow into your more challenging parts of your brands DNY

just watched the whole show. my sentiments are similar to yours.
I also loved that the music was complimentary to clothes, to the movement, to the mood the clothes conveyed.
Miu Miu can be worn by women in their 50+s and Sydney Sweeney girlies and i love that.
It was easy to watch, it wasn't difficult to digest as a viewer

I feel like Mrs. Prada is designing Miu Miu as an ongoing wardrobe project. Pieces from one collection can easily be mixed with another. From a merchandising perspective, this is great. From a design perspective, she needs to spice it up. Also Lotta's styling (if indeed she styled this show) got a little bit tiring.

But as expected, what goes up must come down. Miu Miu has been doing crazy numbers for years (since that cropped collection) so it's time for it to level out.
