The attempt at wide-eyed girlishness isn't working at all. She seems too old and it's unconvincing. I really don't understand Gigi's modeling fails... she has a lot of good elements but I just don't think she's photogenic.

Sasha P. would’ve indeed been a perfect choice, maybe Gemma Ward or Stam whose faces have much more depth.
Arizona Muse also came to mind - now this is a comeback I would love to see.

I will never forget the time Giig's Max Mara's accessories campaign (also by Steven Meisel) was released back in 2016 on theFashionSpot, which I thought was just absolutely stunning and was instantly smitten.

This, however, feels worlds apart - even as a staunch Meisel fan. Gigi's just giving us zilch here, not fan of the doll-like concept and the hair is simply inexcusable.

Now that everything makes sense I like it more and more. Gigi does look as those Margaret kids, so to me is a wise choise of casting. Most of the girls mentioned above are not so active now in Fashion Industry, with a few gigs. But I would have love to see some of them doing it. Gigi is so young, she still have that inocent child-like face, so fits with it. Would have been great to see cats around because they are so present on these paintings.
