Miu Miu S/S 2014 : Bella, Elizabeth, Elle & Lupita by Inez & Vinoodh

It is slightly random, but I would stop and stare at these shots in a magazine if I were flipping through it. They're all captivating and unique in their own way.

I really hope we'll get more shots 'cause the cast is perfect.

Seeing all of these images I have to say I don't get the hype. All of the images look so stiff and tense. What kind of awful angles are those as well?

I got excited when I saw Lupita's name in the title.. but her shot so far is my least favorite.. very stiff and very posey.. the 1st Elle shot is my favorite with Olsen's coming in 2nd

The cast makes for a perfect Miu Miu campaign, just not for this specific collection. It should have just been Elle and Elizabeth because they seem to be the only ones who's shots have a compelling vibe.

Why do they look so scared and submissive... I don't like the model choices

Elle steals this for me...she is the youth and innocence that is Miu Miu...

For me, Elle outshines everyone here. Bella's a beautiful girl but her face looks a bit strange in her shot? I feel like they could have used her better.

I like all the shots but Lupita is my favorite, she's working the outfit and the pose is so strong.

The full campaign is on Miu Miu website (11 shots altogether).

Hollywood’s brightest new stars take on the many facets of the Miu Miu femininity in a series of portraits by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Elle Fanning (Somewhere, Super 8), Bella Heathcote (Dark Shadows), Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years A Slave) and Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Macy May Marlene) reinterpret the Spring/Summer 2014 collection – a play on classic archetypes of fashion – through their individual style language.

Each set is as distinctive and striking as the young actresses themselves, walls in saturated shades of blue, red and violet accentuating the mixed prints and materials of the clothes, and multicoloured floorboards sweeping towards the camera at surreal angles.

Timeless codes of femininity are both pretty and perverse – classics, but not quite as they should be – as if seen in a dream. Thick wool stockings in rich yellow, red and pink are paired with ruby Mary Janes, lace-up knee-highs or crystal-studded platform sandals. A good-girl coat is interpreted in yellow and grey and a bad-girl bustier drips with jewels.

The actresses’ poses, full of personality, convey their diverse points of view, effortlessly translating the new spirit of the Miu Miu woman.

Lupita looks the most model of them all! She looks good in every shot, and that's why she has more shots than the others! Also love Elle!

I wondered whether Lupita hadn't been a model when I saw 12 Years. She looked model-ly even in the movie. Bella looks like Malgosia Bela but she's not much of a poser.
