Liu Wen at BCBG and Richard Chai? Not the type of shows for an alleged "Top 5" model...

I noticed that a few seasons ago when she already got Estee Lauder contract. I thought she would slow down and did fewer shows but instead she still did a lot of shows each season including some comparatively small shows. I think she works very hard in the industry. I can understand she did Richard Chai and other Asian designers' shows.

Naomi should be opening Marc - that's the only thing I can see happening that isn't Wang. Maybe Calvin Klein, but that'd be too good to be true.

Jason Wu's casting was sublime. It fitted the collection, Carolyn was a great opener, Cora closing made me so damn happy. No newbies who couldn't walk - those girls couldn't walk all the same, but if they hired some newbies, the result would be disastrous. In casting terms, it really was the start of fashion week.

And the casting this season is all over the place. Betty Adewole walked Peter Som, and soon after she was at Noon by Noor. Josephine Skriver was at Honor yesterday, and today she pops up at Jason Wu. Jasmine Tookes is nowhere to be seen. I think the Top 10 Newcomer ranking is really a wide open race.
