Model Casting S/S 2025

Seems like Vogue France doesn't have that ''power'' anymore.. Vivienne Rohner appeared on the september cover by Meisel and she isn't walking in many A-list shows.. Remember when the girl who appeared on vogue paris cover used to be the star of the season.😅
Vogue France literally means nothing (that said, the only one I ever bought is that very one with Vivienne on the cover).
Vogue Paris used to rock my socks. That were other times. When a september issue was Natasha Poly in full-leopard-look. The kind of things you could pin on your bedroom wall and then have sweet dreams.

Maybe she was there because of the Zara x Stefano Pilati event.
You sort of said the magic word : Pilati
For @mariemaud : Pi-pi-pi-Pilati.
If I have only one regret from these years (when my best friend was the press agent ;@ Issey), it would be the fact I didn't see some YSL by Stefano
But I guess Valentino washed away my teardrops that morning,
Mr Garavani was simply grand
(and made me forget the quirky taste of JCDC's champagne - or rather rosé mousseux)
After some 4-5 deep-red dresses came the maestro,
Waving his hand
Again : too bad I didn't get the opportunity to see Pilati's work in motion.
Would have been worth Galliano and his piglet.

I love Seeing the Selena haters pressed. She’s been a fav of mine ever since she debuted at Proenza. She seems so laid back and chill. And her face and body have never aged. Go off sis!
Haters only can hate.
Selena is an amazing model.
One of the most amazing of her era.
Just like Binx (who also has her own bunch of haters).
One that I truly miss from that generation is Damaris Goddrie.

I really enjoyed Loewe. Quirky with the right newfaces and a few of Ashley’s tops like Mica, Julia Nobis, Liu Wen and Xiao Wen…of the newfaces Glorianny is having a really strong blue chip season (Proenza, JW Anderson, Prada, Dior, Dries, Chloe, Loewe…).

without sounding biased: do y’all know how many models have been in the industry (both print/adv and runway) non stop for 15 years and still keeping the level of exclusivity? Because I’m genuinely impressed by Julia Nobis at this point and I can’t think about anyone else doing like her.

Gigi Hadid, Barbara Palvin, Stella Maxwell, Heidi Klum and Carmen Kass at Vetements.

Mariacarla is the only other one I can think of

Liu Wen? Imaan Hammam? Rianne van Rompaey?
