Are there any agencies that sign curvy girls? Would someone with hips and a big chest get laughed out of agencies?

Depends how curvy, if you are around a size 12 you could try the plus size divisions.

are there a lot from Holland out here? i was looking for fashion pages and i came here. Iilove this site allready. my friend's name is julie, she's not a very good friend, but i'm in with her in a class.

I knew it, I had a feeling it was Julie! I know her too (well.. by the internet haha) She will be shooting for Roel Schagen (important visagist) one of these days, so cool. I hope she gets far, though they said her classique look is not what they're looking out for right now, that might change within a few years.

No US.
UK 12 is slightly too big unless you are 5'11 and above.
Some of the commercial agencies would accept UK 12.

i didn't know about roel schagen, i'll ask it on school, she never tells anything about modelling on school, she hates talking about it, don't know why. some people thinks she's pretty arrogant, because she hates talking about it. i've never seen any model pictures from her, do you know where i can see them?

Yeah, that's what she thinks too. She told me there were a bunch of very good photos, but they didn't add them to her book. I hope she gets some good jobs in the near future to improve the quality and show her versatility

I agree with that but I do not agree with your opinion about she's arrogant because she doesn't talk about her modeling-career. That's not a good argument for calling somebody arrogant. It seems to me she's quite modesty, like perfeline said.
